  4. Good old Tony Parkes batting straight for the BNP raising everyones conciousness of their success! Polling 14% matching the Lib/Dems, well thats not much use if they are the same as the lib/dems, they aren't gonna change the world in a hurry 1 out of 10 for effort. PS didn't slip by our annaj did you, she's mustard, bet you wish you hadn't bothered now Tony heh. I've bin there 'n got the war wounds 'n the steveT-shirt;-)
  5. The rule is that when purchasing hard wood flooring one orders on average size room, 2 square metres more than you need to cover the area, to allow for cuts and wastage. If you buy the correct amount and run short you will not usually match it up with your following purchase. So it may not be that dodgy, but I suspect they would want cash, not a cheque;-)
  6. My ex-wife insisted that our children were privately educated and paid for that privilege, she had had a similar background and went on to cambridge and in to medicine. I did not know what a university was nor a private education. Having seen what happens to the children through this system, I wondered if a more fruitful investment might be to put that education money into a property(?) The children would have a place to live and a possibility to sub-let to ease any forthcoming financial burdens. It is not meant to inflame anyone, it's just a thought.

  9. It has kurbed my appetite for posing controversial questions to intellectual forumistas, and anyone else who have had a half reasonable education.
  10. You could extend the chain to run through the supports on the underside of the saddle so it cannot be nicked so easily.
  11. I've come over all unneccessary
  12. There is an earlier thread on places for dancing
  13. when asked if he liked some revolting footwear by his last wife my father said, " a blind man dressed in black galloping through a black tunnell on a black 'oss at midnight" would say "those were nice shoes"
  14. Question 1. should immigration continue at the present level, and if so why? 2. should it be reduced and to how much? 3. should it be stopped and if so why?

I shall have to call wrentokill, pronto.
  16. I quite agree annaj I was not referring to your posts as I had not read them at the time of writing. Having read them they are informative, interesting, and worthy of publication. Question:- should immigration be (A) stopped or (B)substantially reduced
  17. No Ted Max my Dell! The only thing I know about Libyans is, they have oil and sand.
  18. seanmcG wrote:-the next unusable word on the horizon (tribal, for reference) The word racism and tribalism are quite close, so I can imagine that becoming offensive to. seanmcG wrote:- Which immigrants do you know who want to stop immigration and do you point out to them that you want them out as well? Are you going to send me back in fact? I need to know! "No sean". My chinese accupuncturist is convinced "immigration will smash this country" he believes like many others, that politicians have neglected to deal with immigration and it should be stopped. I was also talking to the chap who sweeps the road (west indian) and he was cursing and blaspheming about letting in so many and was appalled at what was going on. This is just two people I have recently chatted to. It is not intended to inflame anyone but there views I feel are worthy of publication. Nothing has been said about anyone being sent back Sean just stopping immigration is what I here on the street. Sadly I have unintentionally upset people just by mentioning immigration, how can it be discussed and dealt with if everyone gets heated and defensive(?) One way of the bnp getting stronger is by ignoring these glaring issues. I must say I feel reluctant raising future issues because of the irate responses.
  19. I wonder if Dulwich mum knows she's a cult figure(?) Yeah she's one of the biggest cults around;-)
  20. I have a friend who runs marathons, and he vows and swears that a minimum 50 miles running per week before a marathon is essential. I have a bus pass;-)
  21. Did not mean to upset you LizzygD I was merely putting the case from my childhood. It was not meant to incite an emotional riot. I know it is a derogatory word now and has been for many years but it was not the case when I was a kid. The term WOG was never the colour of a tin of shoe polish, that is more recent never heard it as a kid.
