  2. If I was carrying luggage anything bigger than a brief case, I would buy a cab and allow an hour, and take private eye to read when you make it in half the time. Have fun!
  3. I had a game on Mogs super-duper scrabble 'royale' last night at the Plough. I didn't play any better, but I felt I should be wearing white gloves to handle the clear varnished wooden tiles that you would expect to find on the old Pullman services.
  4. My father had a hessian sack half full of horse muck, tied at the neck, with a cane shoved through left it hanging submerged in his water butt. It produced a liquid feed like a water butt full of baby-bio. A very cheap and effective feed.
  5. You didn't do what was required
  6. I had a cooked breakfast in there one morning which was pricey but good. Absolute bedlam and not even half full either. Just not restful enough for my taste.
  7. Vale first for me Herne second
  8. On the 29th in edt were the singles
  9. I am fornicacious......... I like shagging in woods;-)
  10. Out of the pubs I have been to with the forumistas (crown&greyhound upland cpt magdala) I would put the cpt at the top for preference and the magdala at the very bottom, as Keef says the mag' is just too loud.
  11. Well done DM I expect bolly to be flowing like water at the Magdala tonight. It is a well known fact that journo's are to the most part drunks, so we forumista's expect to be bathing in bubbly as you have joined the esteemed ranks of the professional scribe.
  12. Marmora Man wrote:-Then there was sauteed kidneys on fried bread "S*** on a raft", Brilliant MM appeals to my sense of humour anyway:)
  13. just live with hope and a prayer
  14. If that is the case Jah do not expect a cushioned retirement::o
  15. Now look here AllforNun we would prefer it if you could tell us straight, without beating around the bush, or wrapping it up, just stick it to us, we can take it;-)
  16. Fledgling baby birds. I don't expect them to last long, yesterday a crow, a cat, a magpie, and a jay came visiting the garden all predators of the very young. I spotted a sparrow hawk perched on a shrub in the next garden too, hay ho, wotch ya gonna do.
  17. The greatest quote for me this year:- Hastings direct dum di dum di dum ten sixty six Cheaper than all the rest....... ;-)
