  1. When I think of cricket, I think of fat botham and fat lamb and all the other fat gits who call themselves pro cricketers. How can they be taken seriously as sportsmen? How can we expect to do well against full time pros like the aussies, when we wheel out the last batch of school leavers and expect to win? The lack of professionalism here makes me(6)
  2. The word 'racism' according to Enoch Powell has been tarnished or twisted, by the press. Racism means to look after one's own race which we all do to some extent. We all want our children to do well it is only natural. Immigrants who have come here are just as racist as us white indigenous natives, as far as I am concerned it is a natural act to fight for one's own, it is not as strong as saying 'tribal' which I suppose is the next unusable word on the horizon. The word 'nigger' has also been distorted by the press. 'Nigger' was a colour of shoe polish which you could buy anywhere or the name of the black dog down the street. It was not known as an offensive term but just a colour. From the immigrants that I know and talk to, they are very much against immigration and want it to stop and question why does it continue?

The guy should stop paying the mortgage, they will be evicted, place will be sold, resultant cheque will be paid to him. It is the most painful negotiation and will not get the maximum for the property, but he will collect the balance in tact, and she will be out.

  8. annaj wrote:-I just noticed in the pictures I'm the only person who still had mine on and it looks a bit dorky! I see that it was because you were different and embarassed caught wearing your name tag. The only ones concerned about the tags are obviously guilty men, the more 'shifty' end, head below the parapet, the middle class hoodie, portion of the forumista's. It is a pleasure to deal with a straight and honest woman who is not threatened about her name tag and who wears it unconcernedly knowing it does not matter if found and printed in the police gazette. Wear it with pride annaj;-)

The snow leopard that pops into the garden tried to catch my wren, I let it have both barrels, it went home pissed as a fart and has ignored the wren since.
  10. annaj wrote:-(those labels have got to go by the way!) I did not realise the name tags were so offensive to you annaj. I brought them along to make it easier for the newbies (er me) to recognise other forumistas, it was not intended to embarrass anyone and I apologise to you, and all the others who may have been labelled against their wishes. I certainly haven't held a gun to anyones head to comply with the wearing of them. I thought for the couple of hours which we are together it might help us all to remember more names and faces of people. If the consensus of opinion is to scratch the use of name tags, I will immediately stop this potentially, unseemly obnoxious practice.

When I got divorced I got 25%, when my brother got divorced he got 30%, when my cousin divorced his wife, he got 10% both of his offspring were in there twenties and independent, and my cousin is cleverer than me and my brother put together. The moral of this story 50/50 is unlikely if you are A) male B)educated and intelligent. PS when my ex found this expensive west end lawyer she set him on to act for her, but I had to pay his fees even though she was earning 90K. Thats how fair the system is guys as ultimately 60+% of marrieds will testify, and even if you dont marry she will have a call on your property within 6 months of her moving in. Sorry about playing the devils advocate:(

I have one visit my garden, but I cannot remember spending a farthing which for the benefit of younger forumistas, it appeared on. It had gone out of circulation long before I was on the scene. circa 1946.
  13. Yes I guessed you meant a forumista Ladyg, I was just being a facetious git!

  15. I always enjoy erudition, command, and getting the phlegm off your chest. I think it stops wrinkles gathering on the forehead, and reduces the risk of arthritic joints in later life.
  16. Same sex couples having it off in a stable, I'm 'agin' it I tells ya.;-)
