  1. Blue suede shoes - Elvis Presley
  2. If I change my name to Andypanda would I qualify to be your donor? I am convinced my fathering skills would be superior to any other black-eyed bamboo muncher;-)
  3. The gardens just grow out of space. Forum night is biggest in summer
  4. Hard days night - Beatles
  5. I had the drink of your choice in my pocket too PGC, but it will keep until the next one.
  6. Wots he doing on this singles thread? Titian haired seductress* indeed, they should be at the Kitty-trollopes R us centre. I don't suppose he will be providing the necessary tins of whiskas for the duration of their lives together. Lucky little ffffffffeline. * Non-seductress asbestos.........a loose Latin translation.............. f*ck you I'm fireproof
  7. Right now it is raining
  8. Good call quids. My two daughters are way more important than anything I've been involved in during my life. Before I had children I was really anti-kids, when they arrived it was fine, you cope and enjoy it too. Best residue from my ex-wife by far.
  9. Winter has come at a pace
  10. A quietish night at the Magnolia tonight, about a dozen or so forumista's and a lurker called David. I also met Azul who sported a tee shirt with a large paper clip. I somehow managed to push in front of David Carnell, at the bar in a butch-pink sweater, he took it like the gentleman he is. SeanmacG was there with his lady, Buggy, and Annaj without bigNo.5 and Allycat without 'Onions'. Andrew the photographer was saving a fortune on electricity and pixels, and Michael P came later on just after Keef came in from the cold, having had a brief visit to Marlbrough country. Georgia had arranged it and the music was off so we could talk. A vast improvement from the forum's trip to the noisy 'Magdala'. Sorry for missing anyone off the listings, my memory is just crap. Some ladies known to the landlady wanted to meet SimonM............the lucky git.
  11. or maybe a donkey
  12. The parent who has no doubts and are convinced they are right are the worst in my opinion. Someone like your sensitive self indiepanda, I would back money you would be a great mum.

    wave energy

Great post Burbage, I think I will promote you to minister of energy. PGC can be the minister of information in my government. Jeremy minister of common sense. If anyone knows any bankers lying around doing nothing, leave them there, as it is safer for the country they remain in an inert state. Which, ironicly, is what this island is!
  14. so that we can regain our poise. magnolia is ed forum's Inn

  16. LostThePlot wrote: west midlands talk about "Islands" instead of roundabouts The East midlands also call them 'islands' too. American visitors find them difficult to negotiate.
  17. Will not get the paying in book until middle of next week, eight working days I was told. At least the system was up and running.

When I started earning they opened on Saturday morning and the tellers all wore sports jackets, but suits and ties were worn during the week
  19. A good education will leave you with enough life skills to enable you to survive, and maintain your lifestyle, without falling into debt.
  20. Quite right Brendan I always believed kids were there for the benefit of us adults and should be taught to wait on us hand and foot, and until they are able to make a cooked breakfast and carry it to my bedroom with out spilling any of it, I shall not think I have made it as a successful father. They are not considered adult though, until they can live on what they can earn, without getting into debt.
  21. I am in agreement with Marmora Man a load of nonsense. It is harmless fun, It also imply's that there are only twelve types of people? I was born in the year of the git.
