  1. Rigby and Peller in Knightsbridge. Well worth the extra dosh and you can always go and get cheaper ones in the right size once you know it. I don't think Bravissimo are bad but they use a lot of under support and harder materials to do the lift that R&p do with much softer and nicer ones- they also measure bigger than R&P. If you are a cup size under DD you will be able to get much cheaper bras there - its' once you are into the bigger cups that it gets expensive. You will still need to get them to measure you every time you go for a new bra as size changes all the time, though cup not back size. Agree about branches! don't like sloane square branch, feels like a franchise. Knightsbridge will only sell you the perfect fit.
  2. the wild bits naturally resew themselves don't they and then sprout up again every year?
  3. I love the Hob .And it's got a garden.
  4. We put them there, we keep them there. Without us they'd just be rich shootin' and fishin' aristos. We also put rich footballers up there in their beckenham palaces. I think we could own the royals in a bit more of a waitrose way as shareholders, and they'd have to wear what we told them. Kate's dress would be decided on a vote in the sun. We are almost there, but not quite. We should also have right de signeur on the groom.
  5. stick a note on the bike?

  7. you list them in YOUR order of preference, but the lesson of history is fill in all 6 choices. Otherwise Southwark will fill in that list for you if you don't get the ones you put down.
  8. you can cut through the cromwell road congestion- instead of continuing down earls court road, at the cromwell road/earls court lights turn left but get into the right hand lane and immediately turn right, follow road which curves left at end, take right at roundabout and then 2nd left, take 2nd or 3rd right ROSARY GARDENS which is straight through to crossing fulham and kings road. then you can choose to go to embankment or again, wiggle through to battersea bridge. Look at goodle maps to clarify this route as i am doing it from memory.
  9. alternatively, to avoid the congestion charge, come in on the A40 and over the westway but come off and then follow signs for Shepherds bush/white city, follow the one way system A3220 via Holland road which will then cross Kensington High Street and curve to the left via Pembroke road. At the end of Pembroke road turn right down the Earls court road, which will cross Brompton, fulham and kings roads before it goes round the embankment and cross at Chelsea bridge. You can then either go round via Vauxhall and the route suggested above, or go through Clapham and Brixton, up Dulwich Road via Herne Hill and into Ed. Google maps is really good reference for blowing up and printing off for exact details of any of these routes. I used to visit my mother a lot in west london and so always went via Brixton, Clapham, Chelsea which is this route in reverse.

I only look at it on line to catch up with the latest insane conspiracy theories. I understand The Dog Kennel Hill campers are just there temporarily to be within the Dog Kennel Hill and Charter catchment areas.

  18. This is turning into one of the great legendary threads of ''pregnant woman in lordship lane smoking'' halycon days of righteous ire.
  19. which I suggested too Minkey. Please don't let it turn into this- the action of a police state on behalf of the spirit of the daily mail:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3YtmBD_thM
  20. we've occasionally had our circus friends stopping outside in their van and using our facilities for a couple of days. Perhaps they are doing the same. I never imagined se22 would go so Daily Mail all over our ass.
  21. I have just seen this very creature for sale in the window of krystal chemists in nunhead lane. as soon as i saw it i remembered your post. 22. Fenwick road, possibly number 21, brown and white bull terrier came out off lead followed by man. Bull terrier did big poo on tree growing out of pavement. Already a lot of poo there, probably regular crapping place for him. Man walked on. Dog skipped after him. Me I said nothing. Sorry. I'm a coward. He didnt look like he'd give a sh** anyway
  23. well it certainly fell on deaf ears a few years ago when EDEN, the campaign for a local east dulwich comp tried to get the then Waverley school and its lower unused site (now Harris Boys) turned into a local co-educational comprehensive for local children. It was all there for the taking, the site, the school, the parental support/demand/proactive energy. But despite what we, the local parents wanted, it was instead turned into two single sex academies. A missed chance. Why will they listen now?
  24. How rude.Do you go onto the For Sale section and heckle peoples sofas too?
