    Jim1234, James worked tirelessly on things which mattered locally. If you really believe Labour will reduce poverty and build enough housing, I?d love to know where you get your information from. After all Southwark is a Labour led council and see no signs of this wonderful world you dream of.

    James, I am gutted by these results. We could not have asked for a harder working councillor. Enjoy the extra time you now have but I for one will miss you.

    I got off the bus at the Melbourne Grove stop and the driver had no idea whether the stop was closed. Thank goodness he did stop. The stop had a notice saying ?planned stop closure.? Very confusing..

    That?s good news! My cat did that two days after I moved into my house. When I eventually worked out where he was, I lifted a floor board but he was so terrified that he kept crawling away from the escape hole!

    I find the parking across two spaces very annoying too but marking them out can achieve the same result: I have a small car which is currently parked in front of an enormous car which is practically twice its size.

    Mands, I totally agree. I had someone else?s entire Tom cat come into MY house and spray in my kitchen. My cats have always been neutered so I was really annoyed about the other cat. He disappeared after a while.

    I have watched parking enforcement officers look at parents parked outside the new Harris primary school. Parents were parked on double yellow lines and had engines running. There were enough cars breaking the rules for a day?s worth of tickets. The ?officers? walked on by and did nothing.

    They resurfaced to junction of LL and Whateley rd so what incompetent idiot didn?t think to resurface the whole section at the same time?

    I was a teacher for over 40 years and don?t think term time holidays are acceptable. However young a child is they will miss out n a lot of learning. How would parents feel if their child?s school sent a letter home saying that the teacher will not be in for the next couple of weeks as he/she has decided to book a cheap holiday in term time?

    I?m with Bulb and am happy with them. They use electricity from renewable sources. It?s very easy to switch and you can provide monthly reading.
