    I saw a mother sitting in her parked 4x4 outside the new primary school in Whateley road. She had kept her engine running but was parked by the sign asking parents not to keep their engines idling.

    Rats are everywhere and I am not sure that a rat in the great outdoors is a problem. Better there than in your house!

    When the bulky waste collection was free, you could alter what you wanted collected so I cannot understand why you can?t when paying for the privilege.

    I had an appointment at Guy?s this morning. The train to LB was packed but on time. Coming home was a different story. A third of trains leaving LB including the Croydon one were cancelled. The other 2/3 were ALL late!

    I shred stuff and put it in my compost bin.

    The thing about parking close together is that cars come in so many lengths so, at the moment it looks as though my car is parked across two potential spaces as I squeezed my small car between a motorcycle and a huge old car. This morning, the bike and the big car have both gone and there is 3/4 of a car space between my car and the one that was parked on the other side of the bike. So ?bad parking? is not always to blame for spaces.

    I?m glad to see your cat has been found. I did go into the chiropractor to ask if they could check their roof but they said that there was no sign of a cat..

    I didn?t know that there was a branch of Barclays in FH. Santander is also closing in FH. The woman in the LL Barclays said the refurb was to shorten the queues.

    There have been notices for years about keeping dogs on short lead in Dulwich park. Dogs can go free on the dog walk around the perimeter of the park. Most people don?t keep their dogs on leads where they should. I saw a dog rummage through a large quantity of rubbish which had been dumped but the owners were totally oblivious. The dog would have eaten all sorts of nasty things.

    I was told that it is closing in June for 11 weeks to have more self service machines installed.

    Have you checked that all your house keys are accounted for? When my neighbour was broken into, one of the things they stole was his car key.

    Colville09, you were lucky to meet them during the campaign as I certainly didn?t. And I had no idea there were any Tory candidates until I got my ballot paper. As a huge supporter of James, it will take a lot to impress me.
