  1. Asset, that is such a kind thing to do. Well done..
  2. DKH has made it onto the local BBC news!
  3. I made enquiries and apparently the main roads were gritted!
  4. I contacted one of our councillors about the gritting and apparently the roads were gritted but ?there wasn?t enough traffic at the right time for the grit to do its work.?
  5. I have just watched a 185 trying to turn left from Caldwell road onto LL. How it got into Caldwell rd I can?t imagine. Lots of buses on diversion. If only we had been told that snow was coming. Oh! Wait!
  6. Traffic on LL at standstill for well over an hour going towards Forest Hill. No grit! How can Southwark council be so incompetent?
  7. I am so pleased to hear this...
  8. Thank you, all. The lake has been rather empty the last few times I?ve been to the park..
  9. I noticed a few weeks ago that the Canada geese have disappeared from Dulwich park. Any idea why or have I just gone too early in the morning?
  10. Gabys1st, mine too. When I was confined to the first floor of my house after a serious accident, the Hermes delivery man would wait for me to pass my keys attached to string out of the upstairs window so that he could put the parcels in the hall. He is a friendly and trustworthy courier. Yodel on the other hand often deliver without even ringing the bell!
  11. I find them rude when I do buy stuff in Marks and sons!
  12. Great news...
  13. The mobile recycling truck has stopped its visits. I took textiles not fit for sale to St Christopher shop in a bag clearly marked ?rags? and they were happy to take it.
  14. Is she home? That?s wonderful! Can you put that in the subject box so we all know she?s safe!
  15. Wonderful news and thank you for letting us know..
  16. I don?t go into M&S if the beggar is there and cross the road to avoid passing him.
  17. I passed a car parked on the new double yellow lines by the Harris primary school. The pavement in Lancroft road by the school is being widened and zigzag lines are on their way. The barriers around the work extend from the corner with Whateley rd to 5 houses past the school. I would like to think that the zigzag lines will not extend that far up the road.
  18. He?s been reunited with his owners...
  19. Sputnik, I also objected to the extra yellow lines and had no feed back.
  20. I do hope he made it home. Please let us know..
  21. Mine is about ?185 for a 4 bed house with an extra ?65 with a different company for certain specific items.
  22. I wonder why it could take several years for cafes to offer free refilling when I assume they must already have running water.
  23. The Royal Mail vans and British Gas vehicles use Pellatt rd like a race track. It?s terrifying.
  24. I didn?t know they existed!
