  1. Have you seen the post about dog attacks on the forum. Sounds like the same dog/woman. I think it is time to get the police involved as it could be a toddler next time.
  2. Sweetgirl, that's awful.
  3. There has been a cat killing in SE27 so please keep your cats in at night..
  4. Chief, that?s just silly. I am a teacher and am astonished by the number of parents who pick up their children from secondary school. They park wherever they want including in local people?s drives, keep running their engines, double park etc and this is a state school. I also live near a primary school and have the pleasure of parents arriving too early to drop off/pick up from school so. Sitin their cars, engine and radio running.
  5. ZT, lots of motorists do that you n my road too, mainly minicab drivers and parents dropping off/ collecting their kids from the new primary school. Petrol is so expensive so I don?t understand why people are so happy to waste it.
  6. Are people suggesting that the alarm was ringing and left ringing because it is an independent school? That this wouldn?t happen if it was a state school?
  7. Townleygreen, parents will park wherever they want. I live near the new Harris primary school and some of the parking there has to be seen to be believed. I went to one of the meetings when the school was still allegedly at the discussion stage ( it turns out it had already opened on a temporary site) and pointed out that there were no parking provisions for staff or parents. I was told that staff and parents would be told that they would not be allowed to drive to the school and would HAVE to walk, take the bus or cycle! I laughed at the man who stated this!
  8. Foxton are well known for overinflating the selling prices. I wouldn?t go near them to buy or sell..
  9. I?m avoiding having a smart meter fitted as I tend to change providers at the end of any deal and each provider installs its own meter. I don?t tend to use energy unnecessarily so don?t really see how the meter reduces energy consumption and my new energy provider asks me for monthly readings.
  10. Put them back in the postbox saying ?wrongly delivered ?.
  11. My cat was always out until about 11pm but is a bit more of an indoor cat now. I prefer it that way while the monstrous cat killer is still at large.
  12. My cat had to stay in a room for 2 weeks after major surgery followed by 6 weeksunder house arrest. I borrowed a large crate to keep him safe! I?m glad your cat is home!
  13. I also object to people picking up their dog?s mess but hanging the bags on trees. Dispose of it in the appropriate bins, you horrible people.
  14. Why shouldn?t people who work hard to send their children to private schools be able to do so without being criticised?
  15. Glad you found him. I always kept my spaniel on an extending lead to avoid potential disasters!
  16. I?m so sorry to hear your sad news. Poor puss.
  17. There is also a helipad at KCH..
  18. That?s awful. You say school age children so they should have been at school at that time. Were they wearing their school uniform?
  19. I never, ever use my phone in the street... OP, I hope you?re ok.
  20. I hope it hasn?t been damaged. Good news..
  21. Edhistory, I can as one of my neighbours? cat was one of the victim. The police and the rspca were involved in that before SNARL as I am the one who informed them.
  22. I have attended that ceremony in the past and those taking part are a credit to their schools. Well said, Dieter.
  23. Wonderful! Phew...
  24. Why not hand it into the library?
  25. Good news about the phone although not about the damage..
