  1. Look*, the public finances are in a horrendous state as they tend to be after Labour governements. We need some massive cuts in Public Spending, Labour just doesn't have that capability in its DNA and to get a majority would have needed the SNP and Plaid Cymru in with the LDs. This would have meant no cuts in Scotland/Wales, the english would have been up in arms (and justifyibly so.) Plus given that Labour has 120 odd MPs who are in Unite or Unison then Public Sector cuts would have been shied away from. Soooooo tory haters, in they'll go, make the cuts, maybe put the country's finances in order again but not get any thanks for it and be booted out in a Labour landslide....and the whole merry circus begins again. Cheer up Labourites its the best result for the the Labour party by miles * Please note adoption of all politicians favourite Obama style start of an point 'Look'
  2. Does this mean we'll stop hearing the deeply non-progressive Labour party going on about a 'progressive alliance' at last?

  4. I sincerely hope we don't need Caragher strikes me he's had a poor season in a poor season for Liverpool. Him and Campbell been strongly touted. Have we really no-one younger? Initial 30 named later today - I'd think Zamora or Bent will be in that too and Parker

  7. I don't really care that much, I supported LDs this election but have been a labour voter before. It's just your talk down tone - some people may not give a flying F about the turnout - anarchists, the terminally unengaged etc so don't tell us all to be pleased...it's just your opinion not a lecture on how 'we' all feel
  8. Oh is that right...are you realted to Harriet Harman? You have her lecturing, patronising tone to a tee
