I know, kick a man when he's down. Come on, cheer up France should seal the Grand Slam and you'll have a good win.
  3. Slow dances...or 'the erection section'

Declan I read the racing sections in the papers most days I especially read bits on the big races I look at what people are saying on Forums When there's big favourites (in this case) I'll look for a decent alternative horse as prices will be big and an EW bet gives you some degree of insurance But ultimately, I just look at what Mick Mack is doing and do something else..... REAL ANSWER= LUCK...this time
  5. DC - to an earlier point...if your binman stopped collecting your rubbish you could deal with it yourself but open heart surgery....
  6. Kids - 13 weeks, 2 and 4 Question 1 - To be pedantic it's a flawed question as it's two seperate offers. My biggest random treat is a night away with my missus but I'd hate that for father's day as Father's day is from the kids so a bit of a lie in and a nosily delivered homemade card is just up my street. Question 2 - Like mum's I guess, after a few years you get used to it! - ...I conceptually miss spontaneous nights out rather than long for them as I did for the first few months of my first! Question 3 - I am without doubt good cop to the extent my missus get's a bit peed off with me, I'm not sure gender is the key discriminator here...I'm not a natural disciplinarian. However - I certainly get a bit more short tempered with them when I have them by myself for a couple of days (as I did this week - the eldest 2)
  7. True but you seem just as coy about using it in your OP, "The 'V' word".

Possiblly my best Cheltenham ever :))
  9. Can someone explain how we get equality rather tha just say they support some vague principle? I sort of agree that it's around education. My first suggetion top of the head suggestion - that in order to keep their registered charity status, private schools have to demonstrate they have taken say 10% of their intake from the bottom decile income families locally or nationally, they could stream this selection or do whatever they want to fulfill this obligation but that would not mean getting rid of some of our elite educational establishments based on lowets common denominator socialist principles or class hatred but give some of our bright children from the poorest backgrounds a better chance.
  10. ....what bait are you using on that line Mick? I think Laurent Blanc at Bordeaux is potentially the new Mouhrino...with better football. He turned down Sir Alex for the assistant manager's post at Man U so he's obviuosly rated.

IC has come down a long way but I think that's the EW money. Tricky Trickster looks the best EW value now.
  12. Mick, they'll beat Lyon and then drop to about 12s KERCHINGB) Edited for Lille/Lyon all French to me
  13. My bet on Bordeaux at the beginning is looking nice!
  14. Ruffers - you can get 3s (or 2/1) for that with Boylesports(?) Odds available here
  15. ..or Kevin Keen
  16. Crikey - I've accidentally logged onto the Mailonline. What a load of old prejudiced guff. On the whole it's not worth arguing with all the crap on this thread and thankfully a few have already pointed out the horribel prejudice crap herein but the Big Issue is not just sold by those who are Homeless and this has been the case for years and they (the Big Issue) are quite open about it.

    Robert Elms

I think he can be a bit pretentious and the Way we Wore I thoroughly enjoyed but it did make him seem a bit of a knob. He makes me laugh how he completley dismissed Acid House when really it was just that suddenly he was too old! However, on the few times I've listened to him on the radio he's been good and as others have pointed out he is a genuine Londoner. PS That Spandau Ballet introduction is excrutiatingly pretentious though
  21. Like him in for South Africa I presume Jah?
  22. [quote name=an expanding, increasingly affluent population] er.....some assumption
