  1. Yes - absolutely.
  2. yup there sure are no places where you can grab a pint of milk or a paper on LL (almost too many to count)/Northcross Rd 1. Whatley Road (2 I think); Crystal Palace Road - at least 1; I could go on....... Serious question Lou - don't you ever get bored of your trolling ever? It's been the same schlep for 9 years....

LOL if you think proper bankers are in SE22 in any real numbers - where's the sneering in SE22, only on the forum in spades from some is where I see it. I suspect you're as nice a s pie to 'them' in real life eh Lou? All this suppressed anger has to get out somewhere.

More money than sense some people Yup 'the more money than' sense thing always really makes sense as a stupid, ignorant generalization ; rich people who earn more money are always more stupid than poorer people who earn less. Before the worthy jump in, I am aware there's some very clever poor people and some very stupid rich people but the premise behind this stupid phrase is fundamentally flawed. Louisa is this 15th or 16th Last nail in the ED coffin? I'm losing count

Or it's not telling at all thinking through the numbers. I expect that you require a lot more knowledge for the latter, so it's more specialist and your 'pool' is smaller in terms of the number of fish in it (although the value is far higher) so it requires a smaller number of specialists fishing for a far higher value return rather than volume So if people think about it rather than pass this sort of thing round on social media - where it's doing the rounds - they might see why the numbers are like they are Not holding my breathe though, I suspect it will be passed round with growing outrage and anger in the vacuous world of Facebook etc
  6. If you want beach and cooler (as in vibe not temperature) then go to Costa da Luz (Tarifa I recommend)

I think Spurs will absolutely need 5 wins (out of 6) to have any sort of hope, short of a Leicester implosion. All critical games now - sadly I think the Hammers hope for top 4 now will require us to win 6 of our remaining games too (including Arsenal, Man U at home and Leicester away). Exciting stuff tho but Leicester keep on grinding them out!
  8. Great thread Jah... B-side of Strangetown the Jam

a bit hairy the away trip that year Jah?
  15. I would mention the "Money Tree" as an obvious solution but my old antagonists aren't around anymore and I'm not in their echo chambers :) *waits patently by riverbank*
  16. The problem is the old model of tax take and welfare provision is f*cked globally and no-ones brave enough to admit it or found a way to deal with it. The state will need reinvention or we'll go bust. Tough choices somewhere down the line. But cutting disability allowances (which DOES need reform) whilst cutting higher rate tax (no problem with the allowance going up at the bottom)and leaving pensions untouched is just disgusting even for those that support the general idea of getting our finances in better shape that the coalition and now the tories, are at least making an attempt to do. I know Labour under Corbyn hasn't really put out much of an economic plan/policy yet but noises around tax increase for the wealthy/'corporations' (which lessens tax take); nationalisation; removing benefit caps and reversing public sector spending cuts sure as hell adds up to me........I'm willing to see what they actually come up with in their manifesto but my suspicion is it's going to be France at best and Venezuela at worst

Obviously one game can change everything but i do like our momentum at the moment and Man City's is going the other way. We have a potentially crucial game against Man U at home and Arsenal too but we are currently 5/1 for a top 4 position which I think is good value.
  22. I think there's a thread on this already db

Well as we put a dent in your hopes, it would only be fair to put a dent in theirs :).

From an English point of view, from a football point of view, from a fook the big clubs POV I'd be happy for Spurs to win....but it's Spurs FFS. I shall take solace in my 16/1 winnings if the worse comes to pass. In the meantime, COME ON LEICSTER
