  1. I only have one and it is.... .....taking too long in life to realise that it is far, far better to regret things that you have done than regret things you haven't done.
  2. I'm looking forward to the FA Cup Final far more than this overhyped crap...hopefully in a few years the 'big 4' will all be in some horendous Mastercard Euro Premiership or something so we don't get Peter Drury's hyperbolic shit "What will be the biggest game between English teams ever" all the time. Corporate, plastic shite.
  3. You're not observant and by your logic we've got Ken forever....not sure if you should have the vote in all honesty
  4. The arrival of children stopped my serious hammer's addiction, although someone's just borrowing my season ticket for now. Although 2 years ago as a 40+ not being able to physically watch the last 20 minutes and just staring at the concrete in Cardiff followed by numbness and eventually pain (that is still there a bit.... seriously ) made me briefly question the sanity of this obssession
  5. you'll stuff us....but I thought that last year
  6. Keef, Charlton wear red...it 'just' made sense for your friend to choose Liverpool randomly as a team who wear red. Sorry, 'newbies', fans who support teams because they were born their or its in their families blood are a class above random team supporters who happen to pick one of the obvious ones..I just can't take your support seriously, irrational maybe, but the view of most poeople who support a team through birth not choice...
  7. Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U fans claiming they're the realest supporters....BWAAAAAAAAAAAAH As a Hammer I even agree with a scum supporter (well said Peckhamgk) >:D<
  8. ????

    local driving

It's only motorists escaping from the nazi Traffic Wardens
  9. He's clearly unfit - physically and to run the country
  10. Surely cheesemakers are professionals?
  11. a bit hyperbolic UC...not sure we'll have loads of Londoners leaving for the New World as their ancient Livelihood had been taken away by "more London"
  12. Indeed, I think a health system without doctors and nurses would probably be a mess
  13. ????

    .

Not sure if someone who lives in the Midlands somewhere will be that bothered about ED train station
  14. Another deterrent would be to give burglars a five year mandatory jail sentence....but apparently our jails are too full...personally I think they're too empty given the amount of scumbags out and about
  15. The health services' unreliability and crapness has had a fundamental impact on my life and as someone who used to have some misguided principles about its 'value' I am kicking myself for believing in it. Any serious health matter asnd my family and me are going private out of my own pocket which I resent enourmously as a taxpayer and yet some kind of incentive to help me to do this is deemed politically unacceptable to the detriment of all users of healthcare whether paid for or not. Socialisms' lowest common denominator effect strikes again. (also see education).
  16. My missus is a vegeterian and we lived there (Andulusia) for a year...she struggled, and would agree. Whereabouts were you living?
  17. Nowhere in Gibraltar...believe me
  18. The celebration of a patron saint's day is a deep routed sign of insecurity (based on dipsoria(SP?)eg irish in New York, or just being small eg welsh (numbers and stature)) so the rise of St Georges day in recent years tells us something about our growing english insecurity...maybe we are finally fed up of subsidising all our celtic brethren whilst getting the blame for everything and being governed by them. Independence for England...for god, for etc
  19. Now...recover..... and go and disagree with me on the Doctor's thread
  20. The NHS is largely a fucking joke nowadays - based on its employers' needs (especially GPs and 'the odious management consultants involved) rather than any sort of patient service. And it's not like its 'free'to taxpayers, it costs us a fortune. It's a sacred cow - and the politicians are afraid to tackle its huge problems.I resent having to go private (sadly no longer on principle but as a taxpayer) but if my family needs it I'm paying
  21. Oh Seany, Seany, Seany....when (if) I do come to an EDF drinks I will by you a big foamy pint and give you a friendly, hetro mankiss on the cheek....as I like you, I really do. ...have I wound you up that much? My comments about censorship were aimed at Moos(and we sorted our argument, by agreeing to differ, amicably) and then Pongo who was acrtually rude to me (go and read it again) not you fella, you're a touch paranoid sometimes methinks. My failure to respond to your private male was/is my inability to master the interwebby thing and nothing personal...honest. XXX Quids
  22. It's there to help the flow of traffic in London..... *coughs OR to Fill TFL's coffers to fund Ken's trips to south American despots
  23. Can I come on one of those micro motorbikes with a baseball bat......
  24. ????

    Quiet room...

Is this the room for an argument?
  25. Where did I say "As I rightly predicted"?.....sorry for having an opionion Citizen, maybe I'll make someone whose thinking about opening up there think a bit harder about it......not neccessarily a bad thing. It is a bit like a bleedin' vicar's tea party on here on occasions where everything in the Garden of East Dulwich is wonderful and woe betide anyone who draes to point out that's not necessarily true. PS I think the housing markets had it foer a while in SE22 too STONE HIM
