Yup. But looking like we are trying to win an away game against a top team is a refreshing change. Selecting a 16 year old against the Arse in your first premiership game as a manager...BFS's style?. Billie even had the grace to say BFS left him a decent squad, something that old self serving W*nker would never have done, spread the credit. You haven't had a that doghs1t tosser acting like he's too big for your club for 4 years. Good Fooking riddance. Of course it will go pear shaped at some point (I wasn't impressed mid-week) but not today COYI

Well.. Higher tax rates Nationalisation Clause 4 reintroduced It's hardly a secret, and many support these ideas, but it is a return to 70s type Labour policies

Nope. i'm glad you're still here, besides you're reasonably local, from here AND are in the manor reasonably frequently. What I meant is that it's so poor that i've thought about going but the fact i'm still live here keeps me on. Personally I'd love it if Huge, Moos, SJ, El Pibe, Brendan, etc etc etc were still about but I think they all moved far away long enough ago that i understand why they don't. But Loz and ratty are still on and I'm glad for eg.

Corybn is a delight compared to the other robots? passion, belief, not a sign of a spin doctor, sincere and likeable. I buy all of that but personally I think he?d be an absolute disaster for this country setting us back years, pushing far more people into poverty, increasing unemployment, destroying investment and devastating public finances. I would be voting Tory without a shadow of a doubt if he gets elected. And, scarily, I don?t completely dismiss his chance of being PM and think he will be next Leader of the Labour Party. I?ve long supported pragmatism over idealism. Idealism gets mankind in all sorts of sh1te

Yup Redstar too most weekends - plus Snug/Castle/Babooshka/Pacific; Silver Buckle sometimes but was permanent Kareoke; crap dive club on corner of Camberwell Grove downstairs..name escapes me

  20. Western Electorates are fed up with sounbite politicians and at the same time unwilling to accept the realities of 21st Century economics/demograhics...so you get idiots of varying degrees storming up popularity polls That lot in Greece actually elected in Greece an utter disaster for Greece NF revival in France Tea Party madness and now this in US Dare I say it...even someone well meaning idiot like Corybn in the UK* *lights touchpaper and walks away
  21. rfolgado Are you a Camberwell salesperson? Brixton and Peckham were both posh (with Camberwell) until the late 19th Century eary 20th Century when all the areas started getting more 'urban'; Most of inner London exoerienced a decline post-war with population falling dramatically and a general decay that wasn't really reveresd until the late 80s/early 90s or later in reality; Camberwell was also effected very heavily by the original channel tunnel plans with the tunnell coming up in the park by Lyndhurst Grove (park Name slips me) - all that street and surrounds were complulsary purchaesed by British Rail and left to rot or rented out very cheaply. Estae Agents have been talking about the tube in Camberwell sine the early 80s and earlier - still nothing confirmed yet; it's two big areterial roads through the middle of it. It's a regenerating, funky, inner South East London district with some nice housing stock in places that offers reasonable value...it's not Belgravia!
