:) Athens, Sydney and Barcelona lie empty.....you lot were gonna knock it down. The Daily Wail (Guardian) and the BBC are of course full of this
  4. Oh behave...maybe Camberwell people are a just a tiny winy bit defensive...I can't see much snobiness on this thread? In my experience loads of SE22 people (including me) have lived in Camberwell too. I love Camberwell. I spent 15 years there - it has always been much funkier than SE22 ALWAYs. It has generally bigger houses in the posh bits it has marginally better transport links (but to call them amazing is a bit OTT Come on!!). It's recentish food rennaissance is great. But with a young family rather than a younger single/couple give me slightly more sedate, slighly more school choice and a bit further out SE22.
  5. plod failed massively in the past and now trying to be right on top of it shocker - so any accusations are treated to massive enquiry, maybe a good thing but the media circus surrounding it less so
  6. The only trouble I have on the top deck of buses is with Mick Mac giving me useless tips
  7. I don't know whose more scary
  8. ..we obvioulsy have different interpretations of 'amazing'
  9. If you were drinking that time of the morning you'd be in alkie territorry.I 've always felt a lot of spliff smokers who don't smoke cigggies are actually addicted to the tobbacco and that helps explain quite a lot of their spliff habit
  10. Otta, I presume you were down there drinking in the evening? saturday in the day was packed up that end

Amazing Transport links???? - must have changed a lot in from the 15 years or so I lived there. I loved Camberwell when I was young and didn't have kids...still not sure why any person under 30 lives in SE22 over SE5 if I am honest but i wouldn't go back now to live but do for a bite or, of course, the Hermits
  12. Camberwell has two major arterial roads going right through its centre, that's it's biggest problem (see also Forest Hill)
  13. Shhhhh we like it up here all quiet and that

  20. Careful RD be careful with animals...before you'll know it you'll be accussed of Hate Crimes and be threatened that your posts will sent to the police....that's the laughable thing that actually happened to me on the Forum yesterday!
  21. Anyway, wasn't the whole point of the Chapel of Rest to stop these clogging up the forum. I think it was Mick Mac who started this trend of separate threads for every fooking celeb death...
  22. Birmingham whilst working - late 70s. Chicken Dupiaza, which I'm still fond of (especially if in doubt about quality of the Curry House) ...although used to eat the Pompadoms from my mum and dad's curries in the mid-70s which seemed very exotic
  23. ..gonna take a big budget to make the ceilings higher and the rooms bigger
