  1. Complete waste of time and money, would much prefer a serious sha***** with all the trimmings lol!
  2. Erm....I'll have half ounce of what you are on please!
  3. I keep blooming walking around with the one line "blinded by the light" (and my own version of what the rest of the sentance might be, something about "like a roller in the night!!") in my head ever since I posted it on the Song Game! and its driving me crazy. Talking of own versions of lyrics, during the song "Angel of the morning" I got used to get the lyrics messed up and say "just touch my feet before you leave me, darling!" I did this quite unconsciously, funny what some people hear in a lyric!
  4. For your eyes only - Sheena Easton
  5. My eyes adored you - Frankie Valli
  6. The man with the child in his eyes - Kate Bush
  7. I think you did really well though, and managed to get a lot across, and I thought the woman behind you, (sorry can't remember her name, was it Nikki or something?), she was the really attractive and softly spoken woman, she came across really well, and managed to, even though she was drowned out by motor mouth sitting in the front row who kept interupting her, get her point across well too.
  8. Well didn't anyone else see it then? Too much speaking at once and you could hardly hear what was going on, I don't think the presenter had good control over the audience, but I think I would have liked to have seen a more balanced audience, and a much stronger presenter
  9. Street Life - Randy Crawford
  10. Cor Alan, and how long have you been waiting to accidentally on purpose slip your earning capacity/amount of savings you have in to a thread on here? Lol! Joke! ;-)
  11. AFH (Absolutely Fecking Hilarious!) Mockers, had me in stitches with that one! and it did lighten up the thread a bit too, a few of the posts were a bit on the mean side I thought.
  12. Wow, that is a sick thought though scruffy, what a twisted world we live in, thats why I did actually advise her not to post publicly because you never know if someone out there might be getting kicks out of reading about it. I actually do believe her, and her reasons for needing to tell someone, she posted me and someone else her story privately and has, as you say now left the building. Very harrowing, but good luck to her, and I hope that by finally telling someone it will help her along her way. She won't be returning she said and if she is reading this, good luck to you girl, I know I could not ever be that strong not in a million years! Liz
  13. I pm'd her and told her not to post publicly as you never know who could be reading it, I don't even really know anyone on here really myself. Shu.Kurimu I think everyone deals with their shit a different way, and although this is slightly out of the usual, you have no right slating someone for making the decision to deal with their shit the way they want to and see fit to, you had a choice not to read it if you do not wish to get involved in someone else's shit, but chose instead to post silly unhelpful and hurtful comments.

And then you get tw@ts like that! Looks like you still have a few problems there Shu that need sorting out! Or are you alright now? don't sound it!
  15. I would have no problem with you posting Davina, and I think it was really sweet of you to warn people in advance of the possible contents, and I think if you really need to get things off your chest then the "hit and run" method you spoke of might work, as long as you didn't get tempted to look back and then get upset and feel you were being vicitmised all over again, or the pm-ing your story to someone on here. Your situation is not one that is unusual either, and I think more and more people are starting to realise that and also starting to realise that all those years ago, when they thought they were the only ones it was happening to, that it was going on all the time, it was just barely spoken of. There are a lot more resources out there now than there ever was for adults and children in situations like yours. A good one is "SandF.org "Survivors and Friends support for survivors", you might want to try one of those. But be warned, sometimes reading through the posts on there can be quite depressing and traumatic and they all come with "trigger" warnings, well most of them do, people who have been through that kind of thing can comfort eachother and support eachother but I don't really know whether or not that is a good thing as there is no professional help on there. 16. Aint nobody, does me better - Chakka Khan
  17. I'm all for restaurants and eating establishments being smoke free zones, but nightclubs and large pubs in the evening (day time they could remain smoke free for those eating lunch time meals etc. There must be some way of finding a happy medium. And as for all of the non-smokers dashing out to the pub/club now that they are smoke free, what a load of old trollop!! My friend runs a pub and says its never been so quiet and she has lost money/trade since the ban, where are all the bloody non-smokers then?
  18. Brendan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The "no smoking ban" ? :-S Yeah, noted and quickly amended lol! must have been the wine this afternoon!:-S
  19. Yay! about time too! EEC legislation ( Toms Act ). MEP's have voted and decided all governments must supply an indoor area in pubs and clubs for smokers. You must declare your venue smoking or non smoking if above a certain cubic size.In all cases an indoor area must be available to smokers. At last common sense prevails. Order comes into force beginning of April 2008. I have no doubt the British Government will still try to block this.It is unlikely they can now prevent this happening by April. So all smokers back to normal in the pub. And everyone has the choice on whether or not to enter a smoking establishment, and I won't have to freeze my tits of outside anymore like some leper!
  20. These are not conspiracy theories, is the truth, Queen's flight is also on standby 24/7 for emergency departures in times of national emergency/crisis and is always stocked up with enough supplies to last weeks at a time too. Wish I knew where the entrance was for the nuclear shelter though! ha! but would serve no purpose, anyway you'd just get shot if you tried to force entry in a time of national crisis, chaos would reign and everyone denies knowledge of the existence of such, and now I'd better shut up before I get the MOD on my case!
  21. I know, from personal experience, the Queens flights used to go out with enough Gin and Rothmans cigarettes on them to last a lifetime! I also know that there is a huge nuclear shelter underneath Hyde Park and it is as big Hyde Park, but don't worry folks, nothing to do with our safety at all, its all kept supplied up with food and medical necessities and kitted out only for the most important members of society, so not us!
  22. Actually don't know whether or not it will be aired next week, will hopefully find out later
  23. I could've posted it on here via a weblink ha!
  24. I doubt it, not worth running the risk of losing her job over! Shame though eh :(
  25. How did it go then Chav? My cousin works at ITV and says your programme has already been recorded, it was meant to go out Tuesday gone, but got pulled because apparently it all disintegrated into a personalised slanging match against one of the speakers, she's trying to find out what happened today and whether or not it is in fact going to be broadcasted at all.
