  1. predictive phone text strikes again!
  2. she's a comedian, jah - it's what she does for a living
  3. ooh I can answer that - it's because what you actually posted implied that guard was on the make and fencing the BB in question. But pretending poor ickle you made an innocent posting only to have it removed is familiar territory isn't it? Another reason someone might not be allowed to post in some sections is that perhaps Admin has you figured for a previous poster what has being been banned many a time and is suspicious. perhaps you could allay those fears?
  4. type a one word post in the "about section" - just a neutral word like... well "neutral" would do does that post ok? If it does then there isn't anything wrong with your account - the problem is likely to be a combination of letters which amount to a swearword in the database filters - "specialist" caused problems for a while because of this If you can't even post "neutral" as a post tehn there is a problem with your account and mere moderators can't help - PM Administrator and see what he comes back with
  5. I?m minded to adopt AV, for one main reason Given the downward trend in voter turnout over the last several decades, the introduction of A New System (I?m agnostic about which one ? but AV stands the best chance of adoption. It, like any system, has it?s pros and cons so given that fact?. ) it?s a once in a generation chance to press the reset-button with the electorate and say ?ok you have expressed your antipathy to the current system ? here is a new one which you will need to sit down and engage with but gives you a chance to influence the outcome in a way you couldn?t before? You can argue that the response might still be ?don?t really care mate? but I suspect we would see a significant increase in turnout, for at least the first couple of elections. And as a democracy, I don?t think the current levels of participation are sustainable so I can only see the chance to increase turnout as a good thing
  6. nashoi - fair point and I didn't really take issue with your earlier posts but it was more Peter's post (possibly prompted by quids) that riled me
  7. I'd rather not, thanks
  8. So remind me... Who exactly isn't meeting their obligations that they can be condemned as unworthy of entitlements? The hundreds of thousands losing their jobs? They have not met their obligations? Am I misunderstanding or misrepresenting the last few posts? As waiting times rise on the nhs, those affected are not entitled? Who exactly has pissed on so many chips that such prattle passes for thinking Peter? On the door of every benefits office indeed...
  9. Amazing the number of times the first team to miss a penalty goes on to win it
  10. Some people dont embed the picture in the email - so all you will see is text But if you look carefully at the bottom of text in the post you will see Attachment:nameofpic.jpg or something similar - click on that and you should then see a pic
  11. Them evil capitalists at it again are they quids? Tsk... ;-)
  12. I'm jealous Mick. I've stood on the first tee but not played. The town itself is teeny so well worth an explore and finding your own gems.

  20. a quick google shows many sources reporting widely different numbers of complaints - but all the sources tend to be the ones that say "I see christmas is banned now" as well I'm not convinced many people ARE complaining about this. Storm in a teacup. As you were... etc
  21. And there was me thinking you approved of corporal punishment steve Although the fact that it's the subject of a dispatches suggests there isn't a double standard But you carry on spreading your drip drip bile and hatred.
