Interesting that United think failure to qualify for CL won't financially harm them and that RD used Monaco as an example. Completely diffent situations, and no matter what you might think, not dining at Europes top footballing table will hurt them, both financially and will dent their reputation. And as for it being cheaper to hang on to shrek as it would cost more to replace him, United will be shelling out the best part in ?80 odd million, so RD, you do the maths. I see that wonderful chap Van Pursestrings is being courted by Juve, so glad we got rid of him now. 8 odd seasons we put up with his almost permanent injury and his tantrums. Glad to see after the deafeat in midweek the tantrums have resurfaced. The little boy inside him is saying it's all the other nasty boys fault for taking his space. As for still attracting top names, Millhaven hit the nail on the head with his comments on the Mata transfer.

I don't think it's unfortunate, it's a lack of foresight and the willingness to grasp the nettle that is Rooney, he's been indulged far too much by Yanited. Can't see many clubs putting up with that, and was hugely surprised when SAF let shrek take the piss a couple of years back.

And yet the likes of Negredo was available for 20 million if Rooney had gone? Perhaps he didn't believe in the Moyes project, and the way many of the players are performing, neither do they.

I love the reasoning put forward in some quarters for the reason United stumped ?300k a week for shrek. Primarily the argument seems to be its cheaper than finding a comparable player for the same outlay. If that's the case, how come they didn't try to hang on to Ronaldo, possibly the best player in the world? Was he not as valuable to the squad?

Things will have changed when we go 9 > years without winning nothing, not 9 months... Oh RD how desperate you rags have become. You suddenly become blind to the number of "wobblys" your own dear shrek has thrown in the past when he didn't get his his way and blackmailed his way back into your affections. I remember many of your so called fans burning his shirt when he threw strops in the past, and when you gave him what he wanted you all forgave him en masse. You rags really do have selective memories, and then you have the temerity to round on those that remind you of your selective memory. While we are at it, Yanited "fans" need to be reminded that supporting a club is for life through thick and thin, and not just during the good times, unlike many of the plastics that reside in London, Surrey, Hampshire anywhere in fact bar Manchester. No club has a divine right to win anything, as you lot are no finding out. Like I said before you've fast become like the child whose wealthy parents have become bankrupt but refuses to give up his pony.

It seems there are some on here that adopt a fanatical defence of cyclists and can see no wrong in what they do, and if you try to counter their point of view you get rounded on. I've always said the rules that apply to road users should be adhered to by all including cyclists, but some on here believe they are in some way exempt from the rules that govern the rest of us. The next time I see a lunatic careering down the pavement on cycle I'll do my best to make way for it, as clearly they have the right of way.

Always said Moyes wasn't up to it but neither are many of his players. ?520k a week to RVP and Rooney and not a shot on target, and RVP blazing over the bar with the goal at his mercy and then blamimg his team mates during the interview after the game. May he have many years at United. And doubtless come summer, Rooney will be wanting away again.

So according to RD Ozil is unproven,so please explain his assist stats and passing accuracy to me? The East Dulwich Forum is a constant source of amusement to me. Still I see Yanited are so desperate they've given the granny shagger an obscene 300k a week. Is he world class? Meh. Always goes missing for England, and will doubtless throw a strop again when things aren't going his way. HoW things have changed for the rags.

A dud? Did you watch Spurs play last night against the mighty Dinipro? A team full of duds. Soldado one of your stellar summer signings missing spectactulary from 4 yards, 8 yards closer than Ozils pen, and failing to score, yet again. I think you should look closer to home find duds. Like I said before Spurs fans eh? A gift that never stops giving.
