  1. Is that the large Blockbuster site?
  2. Have sent you another couple of PM's (sorry I'm just used to sending them!)...I think it may be nearer than you think as there are ways to cut through past Sainsburys and down Greendale.
  3. Had sent you a PM but as I see you're new to the forum you probably haven't found those yet!! Bessemer Grange school is very near you too and may well have places - certainly worth adding yourself to their list too (and maybe visit the school, think you'll be pleasantly surprised).
  4. Amott Road Nursery is practically free if child is over 3. They do mornings.
  5. I'm sure that it would be considered a fire risk from what you are saying - the fire service does a free home check, installing smoke alarms and the like. You could get them in to do a routine check over and if they bring up the bike as a fire safety risk I am sure they would be happy to point it out to the neighbours. I think they would say the same about your buggy too though?!
  6. Are you applying for a church place at Dulwich Village if not then you no longer need a form if applying online.
  7. Why don't you speak to the local cinema club Cinema Paridiso, they might be able to work with you or at least give you a few tips from their local experience....
  8. There is an group of that meets at the Magdala regularly - parents and carers of those with Autism I think. Maybe you could join them for a drink one night...saw it on the forum somewhere so try a search.
  9. Thanks for getting back James. I will try again after Christmas but was told that ALL school sessions would be closed over the holidays not just the one today. Will get back to you if that turns out to be the case.
  10. I'm sure the Salvation Army are always collecting...
  11. Hello James, Had assumed that the 'schools' slots at Fusion would be open for general swims over the holidays and was planning to take the kids this afternoon. However on phoning to check I've been told that the pool will be closed during all the 'schools' slots. I'm sure this isn't normally what happens and seems to be a massive waste of a facility. Literally hours of swim time lost. During school holidays we have lots of time to fill with the kids and as someone pointed out before there is very little general swim time during the day anyway - I was told I could take the kids today between 6 - 8pm, bedtime! (The pool will be closed between 1-3pm as a schools slot). Is this a funding issue or just Fusion thinking it's ok to get away with it? Would you be able look into this? Thanking you in advance.
  12. Does anyone know if the 176 is running as normal today?
  13. The locksmiths in Lordship Lane have always been very professional when I've used them - Think they're called Callow something...sorry to sound vague!
  14. yes, I have been told that oestrogen levels are very low when breastfeeding and can cause itching (especially down below) - I have also recently got 'dandruff' and itchy scalp since breastfeeding my third (didn't get it with the other two) but have been told this will not be due to breastfeeding or oestrogen levels...I'm not convinced and hoping it will just disappear once I end my breastfeeding days!!
  15. I'd recommend the sticks, takes all that guessing out of the equation.
  16. sorry wrong one!
  17. Have replied on your thread in the businesses section...
  18. Please tell me this is a wind-up post...it's worked!
  19. Brilliant letter. Well done for actually getting it out there!
  20. I'm on my fifth week of it....it's a killer and I just keep saying to myself 'it's just a phase'.....I really hope so!!
  21. One hall that seems under used is the Seventh Day Hall in Bassano St just off Lordship Lane...there may be a reason for this but I know they used to/ still have martial arts classes there and it's a nice big hall...
  22. I think there is more football there all summer. ?10 a day starting 9am drop-in. My 5yr old enjoyed it at half term. Check details though...
  23. Yes, since these badges have been around it's amazing to see how many dangerous moves are made by mini-cab drivers (particularly those that don't stop at zebra crossings!! Errgh...)
