  4. very sorry to hear what happened to you. Hope you are ok now. but, and i have said this before, you need to become streetwise in south london. Don't go out aftser dark alone, always use a reputable cab firm home, even if you are with a partner. However, having said that it is a rare occurence and not e veryone is bad.
  5. Crime rate in south london has always been high. What do you expect. In fact, since its become a yuppie area its gone nup. Rich pickings ets. Dont get me wrong i am not condoing it but the bottom end of east of east dulwich borrders on peckham rye. Have lived in the earea all my liife and am used to it, so i would say get used to it, or if you dont like it, move on.

    an apology

Hello all. I did a terrible thing once on the forum... I slated all and sundry as being whatever. Apparently I am now famous for it, it doesn't stop coming up, even after a year. I was new to the site and didn't quite understand the little in-jokes and inuendos. SORRY, SORRY6, SORRY, please welcome me back.
  21. Hello. My parents are 80 years of age and they have always lived in south london. Dad hadn't been to peckham rye park since he was a child. He remembered that there was a POW camp there and that was that. 3 weeks ago took parents to peckham rye park and they loved it. I would say it is the a wonderful place to chil out. You must look out for the herons in the lake. Visit the encl;osed gardens. It is fab. A true south london oasis.
