Hi everyone. Am still trying to organise this. There are no local groups available. Venue is no problem we just need x amount of sufferers who would like to attend on an ad hoc basis to chat amongst ourselves, realise that we are not suffering alone, swap help notes and basically help one another along.

Hi betsy. If you are posting a genuine message (whixh I hope you are), could you please give me the name of your therapist as i am interested in past life regression and hope this would help me sort out lots of stuff that i have going on at the moment.

Hope everyone had a wonderful christmas. I was just reminiscing (hope i spelt that right) with my parents over the christmas period about how wonderful east dulwich used to be. Of course i doubt very much that many of you have lived here very long. But it seems to me that buying a house in cockney south london gives many of you the right to decry those that have lived here fo many years and, indeed, have had grandparents here and even great grandparents, lived here. How dare any of you be so rude to people (yes, cate, i am particularly addressing you).

I am with virgin and am having the same problems. Been ongoing for over a month. An engineer called and changed the box internally but said they would have to check outside wiring. Sadly he didnt nbother to arrange for this works to be done. Virgin said they would not be able to do this until 17th of this month. Am on and off intermittently but no one at virgin has mentioned a major problem to me. Will get back on to them.

Hi, totally agree with you. Mum was diagnosed with high cholesterol years ago. Was not givern statins but put on a low fat diet nontheless.. I was told i had high cholesterol. I have low blood pressure, a history of anorexia, no heart attacks in our family, yet I was told (at 6.5 stone) to go opn a low fat diet or else i would have to take pills for the rest of my life. Also i have osteoporosis, so a low fat diet is not good. I nsuspect the drug company is getting megga bugs. PS. ignored doctors advice, listened to 84 year old father (who is still working) and have since gained half a stone.

Apparently, the whole of dulwich village is to be a 20mph speed zone. New pavements are being laid at court lane, speed bumps in side streets, etc. all courtesy of southwark council. If you were to ask for an extra blue paper recycling bag (which I have on 4 occasions) forget it. Nope. You can just get on with the one that is so ripped and disgusting that the recycling guys are now refusing to take it. However, needs must, please watch out for all and sundry in the village, rich as they may be, for that is where southwark have decided to spend their money. PS. If anyone knows any laws on asbestos removal from a council property i would be grateful to hear. Many thanks.

My favourite was the magic shop, near bells chip shop. Fake flies, dog turd, nail through finger, whoopee cushions. Great.

I see your point, but in those days they didn't have social workers or shrinks to help their case. It was never proved that he was the murderer. We all read newspapers and see that the police have caught their criminal, but sadly , unless it is a very high profile case, we rarely see the sentence and in these days it is significantly reduced because of a lack of space in prisons. I thjink ronnie biggs has done his time. Lert him die now with his family.

Money is god in this country and life is cheap. You could murder someone or stab someone and get a light sentence, but do not ever fiddle your tax, rob a bank or a post office, in fact any government money, god help you. Better to shoot or stab someone. Lpook at the sentencing.

what i am saying is that years ago a gun or knife didnt come into it. There was no cctv, and it was easy for thieves to break minto warehouises, etc. but when i say honour among theives, there truly was a code of conduct, ie you did not rob off your own, you did not harm anyone and you most certainly did nmot ever touch an elderly person. I rest my case.
-
Sorry santerne, hope I didnt offend you. but as someone with a lkot of inside knowledge, this really gets my goat, and lamb and chicken.
-
don't know how you can say that. I know a crime is a crime, but years ago there was a code called honour amongst theives, and i know what i am talking about. I am sure that whoevever killed the guy would never have woeked as a criminal again. Thats how it worked. These days a life does not matter, then it did, Not sure of your age, but am guessing you are young.

My npoint is - compare sentences today for a like minded crime....

Glad to see Ronnie is allowed to die peacefully. Don't get me wrong. I do not condone crime, but when you think about what criminals get away nowadsays it beggars belief. OK, someone died in the robbery, but my god, 30 years for a robbery. When you think nowadays you could be out in 15 years for a murder it is outrageous. I am sure ronnie was filled with remorse for what happened. Why is jack straw using old criminals as a get out? My goodnes there is more crime than ever in our streets today. More violent. The reason I am one of the first to post is that the majority of you fellow EDF users are too young to know what has gone on. Please pm me or reply if younare over 50. Many thanks.

My aunt used to work at a care home, many moons ago, she has passed away now. She was in charge of cleaning the bodies. However, she always used to say that a lot of people , just before they died saw cats on their beds.....spooky or what?
