    Garages

Does anyone know if garages are open at the moment? My driver side door doesn't lock properly, and I'm worried my car could get stolen. Even when the door appears to be shut it flies open so, obviously I can't drive it. It's important to me as I'm the carer for my 90 year old parents and rely on my car. Many thanks.
  2. Give people an inch and they will take a mile. The utter selfishness and lack of compliance is one of the reasons lockdown will remain. Morons.

Not a racetrack for joggers.
  4. Because I can't understand for the life of me, why you feel you should run on pavements. I agree most parks are closed at night. But surely you could run on Peckham rye? I'm sick to death of this having to leap out of the way of joggers.
  5. So, why can't you run in a park. Why use pavements knowing full well that people walking on them (which is what they're intended for, by the way - walking, not jogging), can't get out of your way. You sound selfish to the extreme. I think you'll find it's joggers like yourself who are the problem. Pavements are not there solely for joggers to use.

    DPD

I had exactly the same! I had a message to say that my package would be delivered today and then another message to say that they haven't received my package yet. I'm going to wait for a few days and see what happens. Maybe just a glitch on their website.
  7. Won't be long before all of the parks are closed.

Totally agree with you.
  9. Why? We're all in the same boat. If she's your cleaner you should be paying her a retainer.

    M&S?

Popped into my local newsagents this morning, opposite Dulwich Library. Well, popped in and popped out again. No social distancing whatsoever. I appreciate it's a small shop but please put some markings down so that idiots understand what social distancing is. Same with the local supermarket opposite the library, no social distancing whatsoever. I left both shops as soon as I saw it.
  11. I can't wait for tomorrow. The police will be out in every park because they expect idiots to be out in force. Police to jogger: "why are you out running around the park?" Jogger "because I can and because I have no respect or concern for anyone but myself". P
  12. Unacceptable behaviour. What is wrong with people? We're still getting our refuse taken so there's no excuse.
  13. Mako, absolutely agree. Self entitlement and selfish beyond belief.
  14. To the filthy jogger who ran past me on Crystal Palace Road at 10.15 this morning, and gobbed on the pavement, I hope you're proud of yourself. Dispicable to be spitting in the street at this time. Wearing a black top and purple bottoms. I so wish I had time to take a photo of you. Moron.
  15. KidKruger so true. If the masses aren't told what to do, they will do it and carry on doing it until thousands die from their stupidity.
  16. As I said on another thread "the lunatics are taking over the asylum"
  17. The lunatics have taken over the asylum big time.
  18. There's certain dynamics in society who think they will be immune, or at least think this will only affect the elderly. There are many young people who are suffering I'll health, or have immunity problems. Please consider your fellow humans. Stop being selfish.
  19. Absolutely if the herd doesn't listen, there's no option.

  21. It's such a worrying time for us all. Has anyone else noticed that shelves are now stripped of alcohol? Why? Is that such an essential commodity. Well, at least the morons might leave the toilet rolls alone now 😆
  22. Just drove past the Court Lane entrance to Dulwich Park after leaving some essential groceries on my parents doorstep. Hoards of people congretating, chatting in groups of 6 plus. What is it these people don't understand about social distancing? They think because they're young it's of no consequence. Same selfish mindset who are stripping supermarket shelves?

  24. I have tried the silver opening in Sainsbury's (I'm 66 and are for my 92 and 93 year old parents), there is nothing on the shelves even though we're allowed to shop earlier. The only difference is that we can look at empty shelves without the crowds!
  25. Johnnywalker have you actually looked at the prices of these local shops lately? I, for one, can't afford their inflated prices. So, no, we're not lucky to have them in the current climate. Unless money is no object.
