  1. Hark! Is that the sound of the billy goats gruff about to trot over this bridge?

Thanks admin. I'm sure any help we give in trying to find him will be appreciated.
  4. Our neighbour had a manny who also babysat for pretty much the entire street, and he was brilliant!
  5. I have a friend who is a vet and she claims this is quite typical cat behaviour. She says it is because the cat sees you as part of its family and so feels the need to bring you food every morning. She reckons that if you feed the cat every morning whilst you are also eating breakfast, the cat will see you are well fed and stop bringing you home more food. I have pointed out that I never get time to sit down and eat breakfast, but perhaps you will be able to? It all sounds a bit "animal psychobabble" to me, but then again I'm not a vet!
  6. *Bob* and Mockney will get nothing further until Jenny's two halves are reunited and returned to me!!

Hi Admin - there's a thread in the general section about a missing child, can you put a pin in it to keep it at the top of the page for a while? I keep bumping it up, but a pin is easier! Thanks
  8. Well I'm sorry but that's not what she told me. She said you hosed her down with Prosecco and she had to make good her escape on your bike! For god's sake man, I lend you a classy bird and look what happens! You'll not do better than Martine McCutcheon from now on. No I'm sorry. If you can't behave it's the B list for you.
  9. I have to disagree with one point above I'm afraid, I can remember quite a few accidents on Barry Road, I've witnessed the aftermath of three in the last year or so, and I recall one person being killed. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I personally find the junction between Goodrich and Barry Roads very difficult, in fact I deliberately avoid it whenever I can. Traffic calming measures might be irritating, but if they were there it would at least mean that people who do pull out at the wrong time on to Barry Road are more easily avoided because you'd be travelling slower and so could stop quicker. I'm no expert, and I don't know what the answer is, but I do hate that junction!
  10. Ooooh that sounds lovely. I may well be able to attend and will come armed with G&B's pecan pies if I can! Lovely idea Katie. I feel summery already.
  11. Pps Brum, what on earth did you do to Gina Lollobrigida? She's refusing to come back and has a most peculiar expression on her face............
  12. And finally, *Bob* and Mockney, please return Jenny's, ahem, "decolletage" as a matter of urgency. There's a queue, and it's getting ugly.
  13. Moos Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- let's take legalbeagle up on her kind offer of prosecco and celebrity body parts and make nice. Summer is a coming in, loudly sing cuckoo. And could I please put in an order for Timothy Oliphant's bottom? ------------------------------------------------------- And secondly, I'd like to say that Moos, I love the spirit of your post, and award you Mr Oliphant's bottom in its entirety, along with the obligatory Prosecco. In the normal course of events I would agree with PGC that an entire bottom is slightly greedy, however these are not normal events. Please note however that we've just had them back from a goup of yummy mummy's partying on Brockwell Park in the sunshine and they are a little, well, worn out. Do what you will, but be kind.
  14. brum Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- For me, The forum is a place to go to chat, debate, have fun, create stimulating discussion, make good friends, meet lovers, inform, learn, be crude, feel part of a vibrant community. In other words, everything most of this thread isn't. Oh and to make up new words like 'norkage'TMBob. --------------------------------------------------------- First, I'd like to say, wot brum said. And what everyone else has said about the forum being a positive useful happy place where we should have a good time and be nice. Let's just drop it now, and move on. Life's too short.
  15. Narnia - take a look at this from G&B website (and for the avoidance of doubt I am one of the owners): http://www.greenandbluewines.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=6&Itemid=21&vmcchk=1&Itemid=21 Plus ten percent off if you buy a case. Just a thought.
  16. Well I feel really sad now. This is the worst I've seen the forum behave. Shame. *Bob* and I are going to get drunk in the corner on free bubbly whilst pondering the merits of Jenny's right breast. Mockney, if you care to make up the pair, you know where we are. Hic.
  17. So. *Bob*?
  18. I'm not sure it would be proper of me to comment! Perhaps you should ask *Bob*? He seems rather more experienced in these matters.........
  19. brum Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It's not about getting out of bed, surely! > Besides, Gina's norks might fancy a bit o ruff > fireman, just for a nice change... One can but ask. Many a posh bird has gone a bit "Lady Chatterley" so it's gotta be worth a go.
  20. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Much appreciated. > > Actually, you'd better split the norks and send > Mockney one.. it's only fair. (If one is slightly > larger than the other, make sure I get the bigger > one though, please). Are you sure? A last glance at a Jenny's nork (singular) just doesn't seem right to me? I guess the customer is always right tho. I'll post the left one to Mockney then. It's a bit smaller, but on the plus side, the reduction in weight makes it slightly perkier. Swings and roundabouts, as it were.
  21. Ah. Well I'm afraid you'll have to get in the queue for those. They were last seen heading out the door with a rich banker, a fur coat and a bottle of Crystal. Not sure they get out of bed for Prosecco and a fireman, but I'll ask.........
  22. That's a very good vintage, so I'm not sure we have it on the shelves but I'll take a look. I'm reasonably confident we've kept her in the cellar for a special occasion. If I find her I'll pop her behind the counter with the bubbly. Don't forget at that age she'll deteriorate in day light and heat very quickly once opened, so when you get her home, do get on with it.
  23. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Does the prosecco come with one last forlorn look > at Jenny Agutter's norks Sorry *Bob* did I not mention? Free Prosecco this month at G&B comes with whatever pair of celebrity norks one cares to choose. If Jenny Agutter's norks you would like, then Jenny Agutter's norks you shall have. Shall I deliver to your home or would you like to get your bubbly and jubblies from the shop?
