Thanks Admin - as I say, for the record, I wasn't offended by his posts. But I understand that's not why he's been deleted.
  2. I do see the laughter, but some of what Mick Mac is doing is quite, well, funny. So I forgive you both, you naughty pair.

I'm pretty sure this is a reference to Swagger who was on the "Whistle while you work" thread that I started, and who has completely disappeared - all of his posts are gone. I did ask him if he was big bad wolf, because I recognised his tone, as did quids. I've asked admin on that thread but no reply yet. just for the record I didnt find anything he said offensive on that thread, but that might not be why he's disappeared of course.
  4. And just out of interest, what's happened to Swagger's posts? [edited to remove "some of" since it seems he's disappeared completely! Admin? Did we out BBW again?!]
  5. > Hmm, I remember now why I originally decided not > to comment on this thread. It took us less than two pages to (broadly) divide into: "They all luv it up 'em really, you can tell by what they wear/where they come from/how filthy they look" and "Well if you weren't offended that's good, but generally speaking heckling isn't acceptable". I'm not making a judgement on either view, but isn't that interesting?
  6. No, but I have the feeling it would have suited you very well.
  7. You should have Woolf Whistled straight back at them. In a big, bad sort of way.
  8. I heard that too Quids. Readers shall no doubt decide for themselves but I am unmoved by his protest......
  9. As have I old thing. Rather a disappointment to discover that it's so controversial in this day and age.

  12. And at this point in the "debate" I would like to thank the women of EDF. It seems somehow appropriate that, on this particular topic, they have come up with the interesting and useful comments. Tomchance being the exception that proves the rule. >:D<
  13. RosieH does make a good point on the "getting a girlfriend" question. Has it ever ever worked for anyone ever that they've heckled a stranger and pulled as a result? I think the answer is probably in the negative. In which case, why bother? Or is that not the point?
  14. Oh JTT, no need to apologise. Though I am of course officially appalled and offended and so forth, I did in fact have a quick snigger at your post.

  16. But I can't! I flounced out of there last night! I'll have to stay here and put up with the EDF equivalent of Frankie Howard.....

This is the second thread I've had to say this on: Do behave! This is not a Carry On film! And there I was thinking I'd get lots of responses about objectifying women and equality of the sexes. Sigh.
