I hope you have informed the police mattcart.I was under the impression that cash machines have cctv pointed at them. There are various scams involving cash machines as we all now know and there is even a film about scams in general perpetrated by people from a certain EU country (I will not name it because some perfectly decent people also come from the country) This sort of thing is so miserable because we will increasingly be walking around suspicious of strangers in the street.

My sister lived in a house that had been converted into 2 flats with a shared front door. She knew the name of the upstairs resident and if post came for her she would put it through the upstairs door. However, when she was on bereavement leave, many items of post in official brown envelopes were delivered with different names not matching her name nor the upstairs resident's name. My sister wrote on the envelopes 'not known at this address' and re-posted them. The woman upstairs asked my sister if she had seen any post and when my sister told her what she had done the woman became irate. My sister then told the police about the post.

I know someone in Berkshire who fits the bill- but she was not impressed by the tactics used by the 24 hours in the Emergency programme when her relative was admitted to King's!
