  1. Or a brisk 5 minute walk from village bus stop. Active travel.
  2. Absolutely - why not ban on street parking in court lane, create a new faster P4 route in a bus lane and there will still be room for a bike lane.
  3. As Dulville says 'Where do we start?' Well How on earth did the answer to that question involve the centre of the richest, biggest houses, largest gardens, biggest car section of south southwark. Open Dulwich
  4. thanks S. and DF check out the crime map for Rye lane street crime has not gone up. But I still want the buses back.
  5. Yes, P4 and P13 are ridiculously slow on that convoluted jammed stretch.
  6. If you saw a P4 on the south circular. You would be passing it. Soo slow
  7. Tony Sewell was saying exactly those things back in very early 2000s, I remember going to hear him speak at Lewisham town hall.
  8. BR has over 5000exchanges but are planning to close 4500 of them. Hopefully dulwich will be one of them. New technology renders them obsolete.
  9. Site is overgrown graffitied and unused. I?ll try and find out more. Evidently no longer needs huge site
  10. And what happens in that telecoms building next to fireman?s alley. Site is huge unused tho there?s a sign to say it?s ?operating? but without personnel.
  11. Totally right- Southwark?s social housing record is abysmal. How about extending the lordship Lane estate there rather than squeezing more on original site.
  12. The one way but has been split with a dedicated bike lane. I?ll just check my road names.
  13. Many Southwark ltn will stay. Dulwich no. Let?s see.
  14. That?s the kind of thing that would work well on Court Lane - will space for the bus lane too.
  15. The one way but has been split with a dedicated bike lane. I?ll just check my road names.
  16. Yes paint it green and call it the village bus. as long as it still goes brixton-lewisham
  17. Many Southwark ltn will stay. Dulwich no. Let?s see.
  18. Lyndhurst one way has just completed this looks good.
  19. None of that means anything now. Things are starting to change.
  20. Make court and gilkes complimentary one-way streets with clear bike lanes. Open Court with bus and bike lines minimal on street parking. Then everybody is happy.
  21. I ride a bike. Wouldn?t define myself as a cyclist. Dulwich must open.
  22. The defensive posturing above is alarming. Some LTNs have worked well but those in Dulwich have not. For the benefits to outweigh the negatives there would have to be an improvement in public transport alongside a real permanent increase (?)in cycling.
  23. but equally couldnt the myth be that permanent modal change has happened because of LTNs. Covid changed everything,
  24. The are real concerns about LCC.
  25. On Reopen Melbourne
