yes ban street parking in the streets where there is off road parking in road block zone. Bring in cycle lanes in their place. Remove all road blocks. This would create wide clear cycle routes - encouraging healthier transit. Relieve congestion on narrow bus route - East Dulwich Grove
DogKHB. I am pleased to direct you to a post made yesterday at 2.56pm in this thread which satisfies your above criteria and yet somehow as gained no traction. What do you think?
How?s this ... open all closed roads, ban on street parking on roads with off street/outside house parking (ie: Calton road, Court lane etc etc) then in the resultant space create a series of bike lanes. Then everybody?s happy.
You?ve got me confused. 70% social housing?! That would be amazing but then asking if it would be affordable? If it?s social housing - it?s be social rent which is a lot less than fake ?affordable? rent. What have I missed?
I cycled to Catford on Thursday - traffic solid a205 - haven?t been there for years. My point is those drivers didn?t find alternative route/mode. So why not?
Ra3 If you are going to dulwich village gymnastics I presume you live there. What was stopping these children walking before. I?ve just walked the length of Melbourne grove and saw 0 cyclists. What do both stories mean? Virtually nothing.
