Shopping locally, benefits the mind, body and spirit. Enjoy folks :)

  20. Hi ED Forum folks, hope all is well. I imagine you are preparing for christmas, its that time of year again, that has come round so quick. Hopefully you have had a chance to wander over to our delightful community garden, and cast your eyes and nose over the herbs, and their enticing aromas. :) Francesca and I wander over every week now, and I think she has finally bonded with Eric:. 21. Hi All Hope you are all well, in the land of ED. The 2012 SNUB (say not to unwanted bags/bikes) bags are now available. Kindly funded by Cleaner Greener Safer, the new updated bags are different to the original SNUB bags. Same message however, the cloth bags will hopefully encourage shoppers in using cloth bags, or recycling bags whenever possible. The bags are available, on a first come first served basis, because of the limited amount we have. Stores will be distributing the bags, with purchases, again because of the limited amount of bags. Participating stores Healthmatters, Lordship lane SMBS, Lordship Lane Panino D Oro Village way, Dulwich Village Local greens will also be distributing the bags. All feedback on the bags welcome. Thanks SNUB http://www.snubdulwich.org.uk/#
  22. Southwark residents can apply for free lessons through cycle instructor http://www.cyclinginstructor.com/ For Southwark, I think the children need to be 9 and above. Check out the website. Stewart Vanns who also works in Collaboration with SNUB on our Bike projects is an instructor for cycling instructor. Good luck
  23. Hi ED, Hope all is well in the land of ED. Tea and Tincture workshop went very well, despite bad weather on the night. Fun was had by all, and there were plenty of teas and tinctures made, and cake afterwards. MMM nice. As always watch this space, for future workshops. I have also been informed the garden is blooming, all the herbs and flowers are growing so quickly, despite erratic weather conditions. Our lovely sponsors Mc Govern Carpentry, share their enthusiasm and pride of the garden, when we speak. And again thanks to the community who continually show their support, by their actions and kind words. Community action rocks:) ps Just to let you know SNUB may have a new project starting in 2013, subject to successful funding. Guerilla Edible gardening. We are just looking for locations in and around the Dulwich/ED/Peckham Rye area. pps SNUB bags 2012 will be out very soon, we are aiming for early November. Ciao for now :)
