I LOATHE wasps and we have a nest in our roof~can anyone recommend someone to destroy it at a sensible price? Not an emergency but keen to get rid of the little buggers!

Burglar alarms are not perfect but well worth having and obviously a deterrent. Apart from the obvious it warns,say, a woman and child, that there is some scumbag who may actually be inside rifling the house on their return.

Does anyone know what is going on with the pond on Dulwich Common,by the College?? There are vast excavations with bulldozers and other equipment in use. It seems to have been drained and now partly refilled.

I recall a cinema at Crystal Palace in Church Rd. On walking past recently I noticed that it seems to be in fine fettle, with a refurbished ticket foyer and appears ready to open. Does anybody know what is going on??

How do I deal with a CD player that continually reads "No Disc"? I have a cleaning disc but of course it will not accept it.

Does anyone know what is happening, if anything, to this poor telephone kiosk, almost opposite the Horniman, on the corner of Sydenham Hill and Lordship Lane? It has been teetering on the brink of collapse for years, is completely vandalised and is now being strangled by ivy. It is a disgrace and a real blot on the landscape. Surely these red boxes are valuable, if only for scrap??
