I agree with DL and Helena. ED has been shite for transport links for too long, some can work around it (and if you can, fair play) but others can't or need better service for their profession and peace of mind. I'm with the latter group. And will probably voting with my feet in near future too.

I can give laymans advice (you'd need to follow-up with qualified advice obviously) having fitted several burners and having a house with until recently 7 working fireplaces (only 5 now though !). I've fitted several multi-fuel burners (for own use) and am familiar with some of the options. Free info if you want it, to accompany other avenues you may be chasing.

A friend of mine agonised for months about asking his girlfriend to marry him, he cashed-in some policies or other to get her a ring he hoped she'd remember, arranged a lovely night out and eventually did what he thought was a traditional / worthy proposal. She said yes and loved the ring and their wedding was great and they have a family now. I'd never thought of it as being a sense of entitlement on the man's part when he proposes with a ring, but I guess anything however positive, can be perceived if required, differently.
