  2. Jeez guys, put a jumper on !! There does seem to be this fetish with walking around indoors dressed like it's summer. It's not normal - and you'll get soft I tells yee.
  3. There are plenty of huskies around, just for context.
  4. Should this thread be entitled "how can my mate avoid contributing financially towards the upbringing of his own children" ? You don't need to call a lawyer to understand that if you have a kid then you pay for the kid, surely ?! Next thread: If I have a child do I have to feed it or clothe it ?
  5. Massive dog turd outside my front gate on Thursday evening, from a very big dog, laid between 8.15-8.30pm. Luckily I didn't step on it as I left to walk my dog and luckily I had bags to pick it up and then washed the pavement. Could have carpeted my hallway with it there was so much. I swear the person I see intentionally allowing their dog to do this will be wearing the shit down their shirt. No. Fecking. Excuse.
  6. All descriptions of perpetrators should include passport no. and DNA profile. Anything else, ie. not specifying name, exact height, brand and colour of clothing, shoe size, and inside leg measurement is simply generalising. Imagine warning people about a mugger and only providing the details you managed to observe during the attack, perish the thought of such an ill-informed and badly thought out approach to raising awareness.
  7. Whether his ex has married or not is irrelevant, that may affect financial settlement but not financial contributions to the upbringing of the children. The fact is, if the CSA have not been involved it's up to the two parents to sort it, if CSA get involved they'll have set a % based on the no. of children which should be paid (less their 'fee') and will enforce if necessary. I don't get the raising of the fact that the woman has married a different guy - there seems to be a suggestion that this releases the father from responsibility to contribute as a parent - which on any level is so obviously wrong.
  8. ...apart from LL post office post box as mentioned. (at least, on Tuesday)
  9. That area in NC has now been fenced-in.
  10. ..but the money will go to the mother, not the kids as she is (I assume) the one with residential custody of the children.
  11. LL post office is 1330 collection weekdays, though that information is not posted anywhere like it should be for folks to see.
  12. kibris Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No harm in that everyone needs somewhere to put > there head down. So, basically what I was saying then.
  13. I saw a pissed-up woman one evening sprawled on the bench by th co-op chemists, beer bottle in hand, same brand broken bottle under bench with beer and broken glass strewn around, fag in hand slowly burning to the root while she slumped in a stupor. Benches are for everyone - hoorah !
  14. Aaah 'principle', that old stalwart of good solid business acumen.
  15. Two kids I think means father obliged to pay 20% of earned (taxable) income - if the case is taken to the CSA (but if it is, nowadays CSA will take a % to cover their 'admin').
  16. Hmmm... not sure if there are actually any havenots. I mean, I've seen them on documentaries and stuff but not in real-life, and not around here. Perish the thought that we have the little people in our midst. *shudders*
  17. I'm sure I've read this thread before somewhere.
  18. Imagine a world (suburban London postcode) where nothing ever changed. East Dulwich would be the Lacock of South East London, camera crews queing-up to film the next series of Life On Mars or other 1980s-based dramas. Nothing has changed here for 35 years. That's why no-one wants to live here. Because it's dull as feck.
  19. I'm sure I've read this thread before somewhere.
  20. Cypriot is not as close to India as Bangladesh I suppose, yes.
  21. Having been going for almost a year I have to say that first Wednesday each month can't come round quick enough, cool people making a cool event which I appreciate massively. It's really helped me with confidence to try new stuff too.
  22. Yeah I saw those two benches over the weekend !!
  23. Also reduce the offer a bit further for the hassle and because it's a buyers' market now.
  24. Personally I'd be all for DNA registration of dogs along with their microchip. Then tracing the owner would in most cases be straightforward.
  25. I can always tell Uner driver best route somewhere, and anyway they have satnav etc. The black cab tradition is now a fetish for the tourists (unless your strapped for Ubers).
