Never had any problems wt Car Giant. I think its great, loads of brands under one roof, competitive prices etc. As has already been said, they're a bit like Ryan Air - no frills. But if that saves on top line cost of car, fine! Obviously dont go getting add-ons from them, shop around, get AA or RAC etc...

I dont think the give a hoot about my respect that not my point. The point is, i believe they are teaching their kids how to behave with animals rather than instil a fear of them.

I respect a whole load more the parents who approach me to ask if their kids can pet my dog. The reason they do this?. To avoid exactly the issues the OP has. Teach your kids how to respect dogs/ animals and interact with them rather than instil unwarranted fear?

A lot of kids are molly coddled in my opinion and that's part of the problem.

If we could just ban them, Peckham Rye would be desolate....

I'm with Dulwichdarling on this. If the OP has had dogs in the past then they should have more understanding & tollerance. Sounds like an over protective mother scaring her child into a fear of dogs.....
