It is so important for youngsters to be into sport from an early age so they develop habits of fitness and muscle tone, not to mention the discipline and ability to work as a team that come with being involved in sport. It can be tricky in London but what do you do to ensure your children become enthusiastic about sport? Especially over the winter.... We play a lot of tennis and playdates are generally kicking a ball in the park, then dinner. More ideas welcome.
Jeremy, agreed but prices reflect that. Ww 600 per sf, Fulham 800, clapham don't know. Nunhead - 350ish? Correct me if I am a bit out of date. What do people think about the fact that interest rates will rise at some point and generate massive defaults on mortgages and repossessions? This is obviously more likely to be a factor in some places than others.
Sorry but this is quite funny. We have never hired a skip but we have hired quite a good co that comes along and removed it. You estimate the amoun when booking and then pay by how much you fill their "open area" when they arrive. They really squashed it all down for us and I gave the guys a good tip as I felt they tried to keep our costs down. How much are skips? I think our guys were about 90 pounds 75 plus vat or similar.
You can be guilty of an assault by threatening people (but not actually touching). I presume the offensive tweet falls into that category if the police are involved.
I would have thought a grand. A friend had one done in south Kensington and is used to paying top dollar for any work in the house. It was 900 including vat, two years ago though.
The BBC has a unit so that newsreaders avoid embarrassing mistakes. As it is the UK's public service broadcaster it is appropriate that it represents the country well and, for example, avoids creating diplomatic incidents with tricky names or preferences. With the rise of china and tonal language, it is essential to avoid saying things that mean eg Mr Death when his name is written as Fred, or whatever.
Minder, that is very interesting - your son was invited for three days before his results were in. Doesn't that demonstrate if anything positive discrimination? I have heard of not one able pupil from st pauls or Westminster being invited in this way. I wonder what subject he wanted to read.
I didn't say "purely", Zeban. It is part of the overall impression tHat the speaker will create; many aspects contribute to the final views people have of others.
Probably you will get lots of pms and this is just to say well done and good luck. There is a thread on wrightwatchers in the family area of the forum. You might find it helpful. Lots of people post there about their weighing in sessions and, I think, gain from others' support and encouragement. Wishing you all the best going forward.
Someone posted on the residential section about a would be tenant (family of four) and a specific scam. I asked her via pm for more details but i imagine she has not logged on yet as she has not replied. I completely agree - I simply cannot imagine tenant scams other than the furniture one so I can pre-empt anyone thinking there are more landlord ones myself.
Can I just interject that, at a dinner party, my husband and I once met the prettiest girl in the world, in a damn black catsuit. It transpired that she was some sort of pilot in the US airforce and had read physics at university. Very depressing evening.
?It takes dedication and commitment which nobody thinks about when they see you trot into a great stadium. I won?t say it takes great sacrifices because I get as much pleasure from running as from anything in my life. Sacrifice is going to war for your country. Sacrifice is a brave young man being blown up by a landmine in Afghanistan. Sebastian Coe getting it in perspective....
Prm, ED prices for, let's say, a three bed terrace in a nice road off LL are WAY higher than 2007, I can assure you, so I think that FH must have crept up. Alieh, sorry I got your name wrong before.
Lordy. Not content with failing to award academic merit in children, local schools are now handing out "participation medals" in running. What absolute b.s. and an action that does the great runners and the rubbish ones alike, a dis-service. How did this dumbing down infilitrate our society? Was it Blair?
Suburbia? Prm, double fronted six bed houses for the same price as 3 bed terraces - wow. I can see why you made that move. Also doesn't forest hill have the overground? It is a little further out but still must be pretty quick to eg canary wharf. Alien, maybe once you add it all up, the original statement is a slight exaggeration but still pretty accurate?
That's very interesting, thank you. Of course we will not be looking to strengthen sterling as it suits manufacturing industry to keep it weak I imagine... HOWEVER, it just occurs to me - how does that square with everyone saying Brits should buy in the eurozone as the prices have dropped owing to (a) local prices genuinely dropping but also significantly owing to (b) sterling's stength?!
