So, Le Chardon's been sold has it?
-
No, you keep promoting yourself which is against the rules so to stop you we have placed a ban on your account.
-
Hi Supernan, you've been breaking the rules for years so I'm not sure how I can help.
-
No, if pets are being sold on another reputable website and that's linked to then that's fine. And re-homing for free is allowed.

Hmm, the reading's very low on my indicator. I'm not going to describe the piece you have pasted above as racist or funny or neither, I don't know the context but it sounds like someone writing a bit of a story. A bit like... Whole Foods? John Mackey attacks ?greedy bastard? investor Jana https://www.ft.com/content/fa3a4f50-51a0-11e7-bfb8-997009366969 Donald Trump was a demagogue and a thief when he won https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/jun/10/i-was-wrong-about-jeremy-corbyn-still-doubt-him "...Lily Allen. He didn?t mince his words. ?She?s a stupid bitch,? the former Ukip leader said." http://www.standard.co.uk/news/londoners-diary/londoners-diary-matt-hancock-says-bbc-were-too-kind-to-corbyn-a3575751.html I'd say forget it, there's better things to do that worry whether you've been insulted or haven't a developed sense of humour. Perhaps watch and then form an opinion on the BBC drama Happy Valley.

Hi If a comment is stirring up racial hatred or is exceptionally vindictive etc then we will act appropriately If you are asking us for an opinion about whether a comment someone has made is racist, and you're the recipient of the remark then I would assume it is not. When you report a message you should see a message saying we can't always reply, and we don't as it can be a bit of a pain but we do read them. You haven't been insulted by us, we're just busy. I've just found this Sense of Humour Indicator in my drawer, let's see if works: 1 of 2) What's the most common time to visit the dentist? Tooth-hurty. 2 of 2) What bees produce milk? Boobies One flaw with is is that I can't tell from here what the result is.

Sorry about that, all I knew was what the message from the hosting company: "There has been a hardware issue with this server and we are currently replacing the failed component. We apologise for the ongoing nature of this issue."

Southwark Plans for Camberwell Old & New Cemeteries.

The time has come to Lounge this thread. *a loud cheer rings out across the streets of East Dulwich* -
It was just a warning like, and his *shakes fist at sky* comment on another thread was very amusing.

Borky, your outpouring of apparent hatred of all and their cat is making this place unpleasant again. Please don't make me do it.

Vote / Poll for the June 8th 2017 election?

Thanks for the reminder, I've put it up. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes

Usual caveats: just for fun, no prizes, anonymous but you have to be logged in to vote and you can change your mind. This is representative of some of the EDF users only, how you extrapolate the answers is up to you. For simplicity, the list of parties is taken from http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/constituencies/E14000673 for the Dulwich & West Norwood Parliamentary constituency If you're in other constituencies, just vote for the party Don't forget to vote on Thursday 8th June, if you're unsure where, go here https://wheredoivote.co.uk/ And remember you don't need your polling card with you to vote.

I see it is, we assumed it was about the events on London Bridge so moved it. It's best to direct people to the rail websites as their information is updated regularly whereas your post won't be.

Is that the one entitled "Tragic Events at London Bridge"?

Another terrorist attack....... Ariana grande concert
Administrator replied to sweetgirl's topic in The Lounge
Agree, I cannot stop people being offended, but here in the UK we have laws against hate incidents and I can stop people spouting racially or religiously aggravating piffle on this forum. There's sometimes a blurry line between discussion, giving opinions and just plain nastiness (and sometimes people are unaware that what they are saying is abusive). Those who know me and the forum know people are allowed to argue, disagree, pile-on!, fisty cuffs etc to allow free flowing discussion. Fortunately I don't often have to step in and remove posts for being abusive, so it's not a case of censoring "on the grounds of "niceness"" it's a simply case of common sense and removing a post that's wrong. Anyway that's enough off-topic banter from us about how I should run the forum, let's get back on-topic of " Another terrorist attack....... " -

A few points of incorrectness in your post Nigello, it's a good job you're not in the Admin team. Quite simply I don't want people offending others on here, if you don't like that then fuck off. Smiley face. -
Hi I've just removed your other post, a bit too nasty I'm afraid. Perhaps tone it down a little bit for this small, community forum so we don't get complaints about racial hatred.

SpringTime, I'm not sure if your messages can be classed as hate messages but the tone of them is undoubtedly unpleasant towards a religious group in a "hmm, I think that's a bit too far and crosses the line" way. Please do not post your message again. -

Now you're sounding like a troll. You know what you know and I know what I know, let's leave it at that and move on. -

I'm afraid JoeLoeg is correct, ukalec. A bit of common sense if required when writing gossip on a media, I think you're comparing it with telling someone personally that you heard something and therefore it's fine, a bit of hearsay, idle gossip etc. What you wrote could be classed as sub judice i.e. you said that someone did something and the influence of the you saying that on a forum could affect the legal proceedings, so the perpetrator can be released "on a technicality" and I'm hoping you don't want that. Anyway, the forum doesn't want that so I've deleted it.
