  1. I can see 'wee' quinnie from my room, Woof. I can see exactly what she's doing - as I sit in the dark, hunched over my telescope, peeping away into the small hours.
  2. Will you still be allowed to go off-dystopic.. as long as you're in the lounge?
  3. Porn, I think. Right, Quinnie?
  4. Alas, Sherwick.. if such a place existed here in SE22, I'd be 'made up', as Liverpudlians say.
  5. You've had your fun, now put a sock in it, eh Doll?
  6. I prefer Haddock too.. if it's cooked well. To answer the question, The Sea Cow consistently cooks the fish the best, but the chips are those 'posh chips' which I consider to be 'not proper'. The best chips can be bought at 'The Walstead Fryer', but the 260 mile round trip might put you off, and it's possible your fish (from The Sea Cow) may be cold by the time you get back.
  7. I expect the Pollack goes alright there (if the Cod's all sold)

  10. Can't we just eat all the Cod and then move on to the Pollack when it's all gone? And even if all the Pollack goes, we'll be able to think of something. Soylent Green or something.
  11. I have PM'ed various other people and they all agree with me.
  12. And might I add the YOU are a **** ******* with *** ****'s up your ***** and no **** to speak of.
  13. Oh.. sorry. That's ok then. Pretty accurate, as it goes. Can't complain.
  14. Xena - please retract that offensive PM you just sent me. I am not, and have never been a 'horrible c**t with s**t for brains' - how dare you say that I am. Admin! Admin!

  16. Have you been to Streatham? Take a walk down the High Road. It's like A&E on a Friday night.
  17. You could take inspiration from some of our popular subscribers. Mike and the Macrobanics Teddy Max feat. CPT Sean 'Puffy' Mac
  18. ha ha die, thread, die
  19. There were certainly more specialist shops, but I'm having trouble remembering whether it meant I could exactly what I wanted, or if I just 'made do' because there weren't any more options. Probably the latter. There are still lots of specialist shops but they're mostly online these days. The good ones can still provide a good personal service so you can get all the information you need and feel confident when you buy. I had to go to a few of the retail park-type shops in Peckham a few weeks ago. No stock. Useless, untrained, disinterested employees. Atmosphere like a morgue. an utterly dismal experience.
  20. Ahh.. the golden, olden days. British Rail travel enquiries. Miserable high street travel agents. Shops that don't stock what you want. Banks that shut at 4 and don't open on Saturdays. Four pounds a minute to phone abroad. Reliance on the post. Great days.
  21. First Direct seem to be the only bank who ever get seem to get 'recommended', as opposed to just 'tolerated'. 95% of it is down to knowing someone will pick up the phone and speak to you when you ring the number.
