  3. Or is that just my place.
  4. Pimps hookers drugs guns corruption vice.
  5. I and I?
  6. You know the one with Mohamed Fayed on the cover.I bought it last week and haven't even opened it yet. I've searched high and low for it with no luck. Can any one suggest what might have happened to it and suggest somewhere new I could look. Or should I just go and buy another copy. Of course you know what'll happen then, don't you? It's a real puzzler. (In case any one 's thinking of suggesting the magazine rack in the dunny, don't bother, I checked there)
  7. Rumour is they fiddled it.

  10. Mockney Piers and Jah Lush, kindly keep your opinions to yourselves.
  11. Thanks Mockney Piers, cheers Jah Lush.
  12. I liked Nirvana's cover of Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World. Also liked Lulu's though very different.
  13. It's a chance for new talent to shine through, for both performers and songwriters. The talented youngsters from the Italia Conti stage school or as it might be the Brits all giving their all for the honour of representing their country. We can all be proud that our Eurovision entry is truly the 'best of the best'. "Kid(s) you're going out onto that stage a raw unknown but you're coming back (a) star(s)" Let's all get behind our entry and give them an almighty push. I'm getting excited already.
  14. Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash
  15. I remember when Eurovision featured singers people had heard of, household names like Cliff, Lulu and 'Shoeless' Sandie Shaw. These days you wouldn't recognise them unless they went around the place with floodlit signs strapped to their heads saying 'I'm the UK Eurovision entry for 2008' I think it went downhill when this decimal money was introduced, what with the shilling bits being so fiddly an' all. Wouldn't give you ten new pence for the lot of them. Eurovision Song Contest? Bring back national service instead I say.
  16. Will do Keef. Elvis Costello covering 'I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself' and 'My Funny Valentine' were both ace. As was The Flaming Groovies version of 'Jumping Jack Flash'. Where the hell did I put it?
  17. I'm pro Mothers Day and like to make a fuss of me auld one. I know it's a big day for card manufacturers but the good peole at Hallmark are surely entitled to wet their beaks, are they not? Not so sure about the home made card if you're over ten years old though.
  18. Hurt by Johnny Cash is fantastic. On the other hand Lou Reed did a version of Sam & Dave's Soul Man for a film some years ago that was abysmal. Reviewing it in the NME Charles Shaar Murray simply wrote 'Everyone responsible for this record should be taken out and shot'. Harsh but fair I thought.

YOU'RREE IN SAASPPIISHIIAAUUN YU'RE A LIIIAAR I'd go as far as The Plough for that.
