  1. Hadn't spotted that. I'd seen this... http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1541166
  2. I though this was going to link to the request for a cat psychiatrist thread.....
  3. That's probably quickest route, but if it were me - and this is just because I hate rush hour trains and tubes - I'd allow a bit longer and take 345 bus from Cambeerwell to South Ken. Why? Get a seat and no changing. But. It does take at least an hour so I'd check TFL journey planner for how long it's currently taking at that time of day. Supposed to be an amazing show, I was due to yo as part of a corporate party thing hut it was night that Michelle Obama decided to go so we all had to wait outside and then I ran out of time. Boo.
  4. Mid to late 90s the absolute worst. One year woken by man with knife and night vision goggles rifling through tent. Another when gang rampaged through field with an axe... "Wall years" onwards have been safer in feel. But new downsides for sure.
  5. Two useful options to ponder....
  6. Kind of enjoyed Paloma Faith. Much to my surprise.
  7. I hesitate to post this on a Saturday night but.... Does anyone have a good technique for plumping the seat cushions on a sofa? Mine are feather and I just can't get them puffy. Like pancakes. Probably because I spend too much time on it.
  8. Blimey. Bury Bacharach is pretty grim.
  9. Colombia Road. Hoxton is closest station so quick on the Overground. Opens at 8 on Sunday's.
  10. Not my cup of tea.
  11. I like the sight and sound of a drum solo at Glastonbury on telly - but not when I'm stood in a sweaty crowd of headbangers. Well, not anymore anyway. I liked the baby breakdancer with Jungle.
  12. Already had to turn off Mary J Bilge.
  13. Just finished off the sloe gin
  14. Has been better this week, especially if you can use 136 or 343 and avoid Walworht Rd.
  15. Another much more low key place is Goswells tap room. Goswells brew mead and they are bases at the Print Village industrial estate on Chadwick Rd. Only open from 2pm on a Sat afternoon. Couple of tables, lovely people, nice mead!
  16. Go swells Mead. Picked up a couple of bottles at their Peckham brewery, Print Village, Chadwick Rd. Tap room open Sat afternoons!
  17. What sort of cost is involved for private treatment at Dulwich Podiatry? Grateful for any advice.
  18. No, that's for the members club membership but that bits not open yet. To be fair, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Plenty of people seemed to be enjoying themselves and I do hope they make a go of it. Just wasn't very friendly service or welcome.
  19. Went to the new bar/pub in Peckham tonight - Dead Dolls Club. Really didn't like it. Burly bouncers on door chatting to a bundle of their mates, pricey and not great drinks, generally felt unfriendly. Maybe it was first night nerves. But really not feeling like going back. Of course, others may love it!
  20. Definitely aloe Vera gel. Very cooling.
  21. Awful, awful. I tried to avoid it coming home by going 59 via Oval but Kennington full of hideous roadworks too. It's not even like I want to go to work.
  22. Hmm. I get the DaveR explanation, but I still don't know how to switch between the gear thing with three clicks and how that relates to the gear thing with 7 clicks. Do I need to go all way to top of one before changing the click on the three or can you switch when you're in the middle? See? I can't even explain what it is I don't understand....!
  23. Nor me. I still can't remember the way you're supposed to work through 21 gears on a bike....
