I have that fear too Ms B. The edges of high things make me feel very funny. I have an irrational fear about my 5 year old child. she is really into cutting things out, and generally just cutting stuff like dolls hair, her duvet cover and anything that's nice and thin and gives a satisfying cut with her crappy kiddy scissors. I am now convinced that she will become a self harmer as a teenager.

Is anyone else reaching for the gin with the breakfast cereal due to the joy and delight of full time summer holiday parent duties? who's turn is it to have a go with the blue water pistol, pink bucket and yellow watering can? how long will each turn be? will the world then be fair? Can they have an ice lolly before breakfast? then my neighbour complained about the noise of the kids in the garden in the afternoon In their own garden? In the afternoon? in the summer holidays? Just how sorry should I really be?

Daddy bought me a two bedroomed place and I wouldn't say we are landed exactly as the estate only has 50 or so acres. I've drifted in and out of PR jobs for companies that Daddy's chums own - it's been fab! Thought I might get real and try and get a proper job now though.
