Worth a look in terms of advice, support, respite care etc.: www.southwarkcarers.org.uk Also I was looking at advice/supportoptions the other day in another context and found some very interesting options, including home care services and dementia support, on the AgeUK site: https://www.ageuk.org.uk/services/in-your-area/

Therefore, you might recognise him. It needs no comment.

  8. Hi, I see my link to the ACAS helpline has gone up in smoke with the rest of the original post, so here it is again: http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=2042 'Calling the Acas helpline If you have not been able to find an answer on the Acas website, Helpline Online or if you need help with resolving a dispute or a problem in your workplace you may wish to talk to a Acas Helpline Adviser. 10. If you have a garden collect rainwater from the downpipe from the roof or attach guttering and down pipe to greenhouse/shed/summerhouse for water butts. I have two collecting from my summerhouse and they collect water well ... if it rains, of course. There are some very capacious water butts now, some of which are designed to hold a lot, but not take up too much room. Depends on your space and purse.
  11. Here is some advice on finding lost cats from Cats Protection: https://www.cats.org.uk/help-and-advice/lost-a-cat Also, can you make up some flyers with a photo, name, age, distinguishing marks and your contact number & email to post through local neighbours doors and attach to lamp posts? As well as phoning the local vets, offer to email them a photo/flyer and also contact Celia Hammond in Lewisham just in case she is taken there (they have a vet as well as refuge). If she is normally a housecat and might be injured from a fall she might have gone to ground locally - under a hedge, in someone's garden etc. Keep us updated on the Forum and I hope she'll be home soon.

Maybe a broker could help iron out the 'flood warning alert' issue? Would need a mighty flood to reach you up on the fourth floor though...
