It's the ability to spread which makes this one frightening and spreading within the incubation period. I believe it's already here in London, but hopefully nothing like the mortality of Spanish Flu. Do remember though that Spanish Flu mutated after the initial outbreak to become more deadly but that happens in war zones where the people with the worst versions of the virus are moved. In normal situations the people with the better versions move whilst those with the worst versions stay put. I shouldn't watch Pandemic all the way through :)

School children being mugged in Dulwich

I think those who want to go back to "community policing" may mean where the police know the local villains and where they hang out and go over to sort them out and get your stuff back. It is sort of attractive. -

There's a private members bill going through now - it must be tempting for Boris to give it government support and scupper any further referendums on brexit or independence. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/tory-trying-pass-new-referendums-21286697

The strange (and somewhat redeeming feature in my view) is since Boris wants to be the center of attention, some of them are keeping their heads down and getting on with the job for once.

List of stuff we will do when we leave Get blue passports (although we could have had them anyway).

Brussels has never told us what to do - that was perpetuated over the years by a certain journalist who build a myth of the EU. He was called Boris Johnson. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/dec/10/boris-johnson-brussels-europe

There was a busy Starbucks with a large room underneath in Holborn (top of Chancery Lane) that was a favorite for laptop users, interviewers and salespeople to hang out for long periods. They closed - I assumed as even they couldn't support all the non buying residents.

More bullying allegations. These are made by quite senior staff - not shrinking violets.

The atmosphere in some places is going downhill fast (not specifically ED that I have in mind - but some pubs seem to be running on an amount of staff that won't be sustainable and are losing custom fast). Wondering if some are just running down for selling to developers.

That's the final stage of gentrification - the initial stages see entrepreneurs moving in. We seem to be moving to the final stage which is as above.

Always wonder if this is the best method with so many failing - pubs have always looked for the session drinkers. I do session coffee.

I think this hurt more than is being portrayed. https://www.theguardian.com/law/2017/nov/20/no-british-judge-on-world-court-for-first-time-in-its-71-year-history But we're still a permanent member of the security council - that's what the government can't lose in the next few years.

Dulwich Fox didn't just take the red pill, he swallowed the whole jar :)

There must be some world rule that stops Trump from doing this as he's gone way too far now.

Just try and re-write equations of physics in anything other than SI units. Of course if we started again we could but we agreed to use SI a long time ago and it's ingrained in Physics now.

We and other countries in Europe all agreed to contribute a bit of money to shared projects to benefit all of us and it did massively benefit all of us to a huge extent greater than our contributions. Britain decides it doesn't want to do this - all we can do is wait and see.

Children don't seem to understand society - if you mug someone you will be mugged and we end with chaos. if you carry a knife so will others so we as a society agree none of us will. Maybe some lessons in civic society need to be done. -
