Talk of an Australian deal - meaning nor free trade deal but a series of agreements. Australia not exactly local however.

I don't think the intention of the byelaw is that people who walk there maybe dangerous - it's that they make children and parents feel uncomfortable. So many people may have many innocent reasons for being there though.

Fireworks are only allowed on certain days of the year - yesterday wasn't one - so I guess the OP wants to complain about the noise frightening household animals.

Anyway I heard no fireworks, I turned all notifications on my phone off - I had a great night. I can tune out totally when I want but people then think I'm stand offish :) This morning some people rang my door to speak to me about God and I pretended not to be there LOL.

You on fireworks last October "Perhaps it is an attempt to cut down on all of the pollution it causes. Can people not think of better ways to waste their money?" I'll really blast some on St Davids Day (Edit: I won't really as it's not allowed - I'll just wear a daffodil and cook welsh cakes)0

It's pointless talking about balance over Europe. I'm more or less a globalist and am not going to change my point of view ever - it's something you're born believing. This won't end as there will be calls to return in a generation or less.

Lloyds bank east dulwich due to close......

I've seen the same thing happen a few times (spending big on disability access on something then closing). Finance people would know why that is not factored in. -
Worth remembering anyone older wandering alone could have alzheimers - the wandering thing happened to an aunt and a neighbor and it's horrible for relatives.

Was in inn of court pub on holborn after work and the Peoples Vote youth & student group were having a party. Didn't see Femi there though.

You'll have to go through the ETIAS scheme from 2021 to enter the EU for 90 days or less. Although for most it's not a huge issue there will be issues for some - you might even find yourself on a blacklist as in ESTA (people with any drug convictions cannot travel to the US for instance). https://www.etias.info/visa-requirements/uk-citizens/

Hi TE44 - hope I'm not overdoing the instructions :) Click on the link Click on "first set" to download the PDF file Click on the downloaded PDF file to open it (it's at the bottom of the browser) Scroll down to Part 4 and "Children?s play areas 15. (1) No person aged 14 years or over shall enter or remain in a designated area which is a children?s play area unless in charge of a child under the age of 14 years. (2) Byelaw 15(1) applies only to the grounds listed in Part 1 of Schedule 2. " The list of parks (I noticed it's been asked) includes Peckham Rye and Dulwich (Part 1*** of Schedule 2 further down) ***Actually the list is Part 2 of Schedule 2 (think they got it wrong)

It's there - under the "first set" pdf file section 4 of https://www.southwark.gov.uk/noise-and-antisocial-behaviour/antisocial-behaviour-byelaws I was unaware also but would be unlikely to be caught out (as I was at school when I last entered a childrens play area).

pk Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > did I say anything about paedophilia? I just said > I'd advise caution Cautions always OK - anyway public conveniences don't really exist anymore - certainly not in the unregulated way they did back in those days. Edit: in the ideal world the childrens park area would have an attendant, but with 5% more cuts incoming that will hit on local authorities I guess that won't be happening.

pk Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > as I would advise caution if someone is e.g. > hanging around a toilet block (or in a toilet > block!) without any apparent reason Not paedophila though - this would be a gay male thing back in the time we had public toilets - wasn't it called cottaging. Not condoning mind but there's a difference.

Considering WFH tomorrow even though I wasn't planning on it. I've a bad feeling there will be some looking for trouble.

Single Men sometimes are seen as a bit dodgy when they aren't (I've been refused entry to bars as I'm alone - no singles allowed). Then again you get dodgy ones around too so you can only go on intuition and observation.

Anyway back to the thread - I notice Farage is speaking out about being the pantomime villain and it's pretty obvious that he loves that role. A lot of the Tories in college liked being that too (causing chaos at student union meetings etc.) and I see the comparison. Grimes and Harwood have a bit of this about them too when on TV.

I'm actually pretty sure my sudden cough and hot flush are psychosomatic - I itched for weeks after the bed bug thread after all. It's scary though.
