  1. no - that's creepy. Use your pin when you have COVID-19 :)
  2. Dom Cummings so creeps me out. What is the Super Forecasting - does it involve astral travel and why is eugenics involved.

  4. I watch Netflix and Amazon most even though I pay a largish Sky subscription - I didn't think Globalist Londoners will be the BBC's biggest defenders, I'd have though it would be the regions, which the provision of services for in the future I support strongly even though I rarely watch. I did love watching Six Nations on the BBC (and it's much better than ITV) but there are moves to put this on Pay per View. Dr Who is now based in Sheffield rather than Cardiff I notice so advertising this area. You don't get many channels advertising the British and Irish regions. Support enough to sign as what the BBC does isn't done by many and it would be sad to lose.
  5. Looks like those were already the extended hours - not sure what the unextended ones were. ?The office has extended its opening hours from today, which now means it will open to 3 pm every day, late opening on a Wednesday until 8 pm and until 3pm on a Sunday. https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/25634-2/

Why not healthy on most days then on Friday a treat day.

For such an outspoken person he can be sensitive. It's said people with blue ticks get preferential treatment if they complain.
  8. also known lots of tweeters who have had bans - but not one has ever said afterwards they had it overturned. But could be a condition you don't talk about it if you win.
  9. I was ignored when I got banned for saying Boris should watch out he doesn't choke if he leaves his teabag in the cup. Had many "hour long" drunk tweeting bans but fair enough to those it's normally swear words.

But I'm that age and single with no pets - actually I did used to run a bit with no problem (I began to get to know some of the other single runners before I gave up). But we can't all just be expected to stay in until we drop dead. Maybe we really need segregation - gated community type.
  11. I'm not young either - and I won't put dates on my CV. Maybe think a functional type CV based on what you can offer an employer rather than chronological history.
  12. I've never seen any appeal have a success. People are just banned for days, months or set-up a new account (which iss itself against the rules).
  13. Storm Dennis is a big one. I heard the foreman tell the builders on our flats to tie everything down. Might be good advice for everyone.
  14. "Permanently closed" status on Facebook - you wouldn't see it if you weren't looking for it and "This account doesn?t exist" on twitter. Just vanished ... sad

  16. GlobalMeatNews.com (I bet no-one had heard of them) suggest we all do it https://www.globalmeatnews.com/Article/2018/02/08/Joint-marketing-activities-announced-by-UK-meat-levy-boards
  17. I think lots of people don't realize most adults don't want other peoples children around shouting and screaming. Most looks they get mean "shut up" (Fair enough let them shout and scream in their own area but it doesn't brighten up my day)
  18. Sajid Javid leaving should give dissident Tories someone to coalesce around - aren't many compared to the May years but it's a start. Don't think Sajid won't hold a grudge here - he will as the Metro says he's been thrown under a bus (pun intended I think).
  19. Seems to be Julian Smith (NI) who most seem to think was a bit unfairly treated.
  20. Sackings to change direction - McVey and Leadsome and Cox and Julian Smith. George Freeman the Transport minister gone too - but surely that's the legacy of Chris Grayling. Add Theresa Villiers too. Meanwhile Jacob Rees Mogg muses about the weather.

I did read that mutations to a more dangerous type often happen in war zones (as really ill soldiers are moved out of the front) where as if the population behaves 'normally' the less dangerous mutations predominate (as really ill people don't go out). The "Superspreader" for instance may have been spreading a milder variant.
  22. This super spreader got well real fast. As with all viruses if you're old, young, ill or immune compromised you find it much more difficult - so we owe it to them to be careful.
  23. https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/fears-after-series-of-attacks-and-threatening-behaviour-toward-women-and-toddlers-in-peckham-rye-park-and-east-dulwich/ "A spokesperson from the Met?s central press office declined to comment on the reported incidents, saying that it could not ?waste time? looking into ?non-serious? crimes that did not involve ?terror attacks or murders? for this publication."
  24. Call me cynical but I expect an announcement to state it's everywhere sooner or later. coughs, fever and breathing difficulties - Lots of mild versions of this around - Is the general population being tested ?.
  25. Updated in February. Just remember that Ant !! https://www.facebook.com/peckhamlido/photos/a.627680347352729/2794930820627660/?type=3&theater
