It's impossible with modern flats at the moment - there's a big mouse problem around me. My traps don't catch anything at the moment but I see the mouse every now and then. Used peppermint oil this week but thinking of poison as they will chew cables and could cause fires ?

I reported someone on twitter today for replying with an "p*do" type comment to Lineker. No doubt Gary can look after himself but it's annoying. Twitter sometimes impose a short term ban but they also do for innocuous comments that fall foul of their ban bots (I got 12 hours for warning Boris leaving the tea bag in his cup could be dangerous - apparently it was wishing harm on him)

Neither the Police nor the Banks blame victims. If you have money/cards stolen for instance it would be very easy for them to blame you for being alone in a pub you don't know (it's happened) - they do refer you to victim support :)

The world is in danger, Boris is on holiday so who do all weary eyes turn to .. Dominic Raab.

If it's the one I found - you have to be a little greedy to fall for the scam. I once brought fake gold on oxford street in 1983 - that was the last money for nothing scam I bothered with. I suppose that's the nature of scams.

They have been known to dump them in entrance halls (Amazon worst for that). Does your block have a facebook group (or email group) - they're useful sometimes.

Do they have "offer rates" for a year to attract businesses in or are they actually continually rising (possibly due to gentrification in Peckham especially as the station is being changed). I suppose there is an option to move to somewhere more up and coming if you're a small business - but it's not going to help you gain a local following.

Not understood why an extra holiday couldn't have been given, or am I greedy :)

I just realised that since Cameron we don't just get NY Honours we get a Resignation Honours list too.

It's not just IDS - although he's a good example of someone who doesn't deserve a knighthood. It's all politicians who seem to get an Honour for basically doing their day job. Honours should be for going beyond that. Honours should not be used as bribes either
