I registered too. I heard rumours (Peston) that Femi was lined up as the Peterborough remain candidate but pulled out.

It's not the royal family that's insulted - gathering from my twitter and real life conversation too it's many PoC.

A BBC reporter tried to suck up to a Dutchman in a Generation Identity TShirt and the Dutchman jumped away in horror "BBC F*** Off" Maybe they'll learn.

Standard says 'Baker allegedly was ?given a lecture which I terminated after about 30 seconds with a couple of words that I?ll leave you to fill in.?' That's almost resignation - if your boss gives you a lecture you listen politely (or at least pretend to)

Extra 10mph not worth the risk of hitting someone - even if it's not technically your fault.

Brexit Edit: Actually the (I thought) laughable Brexit Anxiety Disorder seems to be happening too. https://www.politico.eu/article/brexit-anxiety-disorder-britain-middle-class/

So Gavin Williamson allegedly leaks and is sacked (in typical Theresa May fashion with a pretty vindictive letter). He then swears on his children's lives that he didn't do it. That troubles me as he either doesn't know what he's said, is telling the truth (and there's a real leaker is still there, or he did it and couldn't care less about his children.

Shop that will give sensible advice on new mobile?

I've always brought iPhones, but if I was looking for functionality for price these days it'd be a Huawei If they're good enough for Theresa May :) -
Farage : "If there is a more arrogant and dishonest national political figure at the moment than Lord @Andrew_Adonis of Camden Town, I am not aware of them." I don't know who that person could be Nigel :)

First week of May according to their twitter. https://twitter.com/saucychip/with_replies?lang=en&lang=en

You see - if it takes you over two hours to do your shop then your hit with the fine. Maybe if they merged with Asda or something.

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/john-rhysdavies-slammed-for-shouting-oh-woman-at-caroline-lucas-a4126951.html I enjoyed the first two series of Sliders until it got over the top and they slid into that Brexit universe with the useless Prime Minister.

LOL My twitter timeline after seeing something written on his facebook 'Lord Adonis is a born again leaver' I think as the South West EU elections primary candidate he has been asked to think about the secondary candidate and has reined in the remain rhetoric for now (you can't vote for an individual only a party) ?. (sorry got that wrong as he is second candidate for labour behind Clare Moody, also in the region Rachel Johnson (Sister of Boris), Anne Widdecombe and Carl Benjamin (Sargon of Akkad). Here's a link https://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/presenters/iain-dale/comments-labour-candidate-lord-adonis-sorry/ https://www.standard.co.uk/news/londoners-diary/the-londoner-astonishment-at-adoniss-uturn-a4126101.html

Yet last nights Evening Standard saying this would cost Labour a huge amount of support - just as they hit a good lead with the Tories in freefall. Would Corbyn really do that - although he can't look like he's negotiating in bad faith. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/back-public-vote-on-brexit-or-hand-europe-victory-to-nigel-farage-voters-tell-jeremy-corbyn-a4120156.html

I'm not sure greed is one of Corbyn's failures whatever you think of him.
-
It's early days but Farage has definitely got off the mark quick. A win for his party could kill a second referendum dead.

Brexit Party in the lead 27% according to YouGov (take it with a pinch of salt as the poll assumes a low turnout similar to 4 years ago)

Strangely my sisters and I planted some horse chestnut saplings back in 1977 back in Gower to celebrate the silver jubilee and they still look like young trees (no where near fully grown)

Not sure if the text is true or false - but every photo on those tweets seems fake (they're Norwegian pines etc) . Even if true would Versailles give up those trees :)

It's as if (forgetting Trump) that Nancy Pelosi has been sent to knock some heads together (she's met the other sides too). https://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/us-politicians-and-brexiteers-clash-on-concocted-border-issue-1.3862750
