If Theresa May sacrifices herself with no legacy and having done nothing in office and then her deal fails too. It might be a summary of her.

Bercow loves it these days "Mr Bercow had told Mr Hands: ?I don?t require any help from the right honourable gentleman, the member for Chelsea and Fulham, who wouldn?t have the foggiest idea where to start.?He was once a whip, he wasn?t a very good whip, it would be better if he kept quiet.? As the Speaker was met with a loud clamour, he defended his comments, saying they were "were not outrageous at all" and adding "members could shout as much as they like" but it "wouldn't make any difference?.

Mogg : "The choice seems to be Mrs May?s deal or no Brexit" Looks like ERG will reluctantly vote for May's deal, if it comes back. Even then not sure it has the numbers.

The Grand Wizards - really. The group who went to Chequers call themselves that. No wonder it was all men. Laura K just dropped it on twitter last night like an afterthought - both 'KKK' and 'Grand Wizards' trending within an hour and she's back 'oh I didn't check my twitter - I seem to have started something'

Raheem Kassam turning on Andrea Jenkins now and threatening to "release details". It's turning really nasty out there.

Sounds like May is giving up. She seems to have ruled out her deal (not enough support ) and no deal (not enough commons support) edit: no doubt she has some dastardly plan.

"It's slit wrists time" rather inappropriate comment from a minister on today's cabinet session.

WHat was built is common and discussed before - I guess those residents will get a bit added to their service charge to repair. We get graffiti - and cleaning that increases our charge.

"The prime minister had sent an early morning text on Friday to her fellow heads of state and government promising to find a majority for the withdrawal agreement as she left for fresh talks in Westminster." They all deleted it straight away

teddyboy23 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > JohnL data from parliaments petitions website > shows signatures don't know how many ,are coming > from other countries including Russia and north > Korea There are British migrants/government workers in those countries so there will be some valid votes. The below link says you need to click on the email link sent to you by the system for your vote to count so you'd need to pay a call center type of operation (not impossible) or have a load of people abroad who cared about Brexit (maybe, but even the EU has had enough) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-47668946 Anyway as I said before I'm only comparing with other petitions to rule out system issues - I expect 4 million as that's what the very first petition for a new vote got (same level of interest just after the vote).

Just read someone saying if her deal was being sold by a sane person - its a WA not a future agreement It doesn't rule out customs union or single market It doesn't rule out freedom of movement It doesn't rule out ECJ jurisdiction But she constantly sells it as if it does. Maybe she is the problem

Strangely in parallel to this "Senior MPs in the cross-party group that aims to take control of the Brexit process and identify a Plan B are going to meet chief EU negotiator Michel Barnier in Brussels on Monday, the Evening Standard has learned. They will tell him that the Commons is now ready and able to deliver a stable Brexit plan independently of Mrs May." "Sir Oliver Letwin, architect of the cross-party bid to seize the Commons agenda and pass a better Brexit plan, went into the Cabinet Office this afternoon for talks with David Lidington, Mrs May?s de facto deputy. "

Sky News saying there could be a plan (backed by No10) for a commons vote on 7 options if MV3 fails. Revoke A50 2nd Referendum Mays deal Mays deal + Customs union (Corbyn) Mays deal + Customs union + single market (Corbyn+ LOL) Standard free trade agreement No deal Is that the EU plan ? I'll believe it when I see it - and she's sneaked her deal in again I notice.

Not the civil servants. Civil Servants (and I know a few) have a job to do and they just do it - they don't make policy. -

It's like the EU bangs some sense into her then she loses it again a few days later. She was still going on about "my deal or we leave on the 12 April with no deal" this morning though.
