@peston "The talk is of Cabinet being asked to agree to a long delay to prepare better for no deal. I have no idea whether it is true. But I pass on more to give a flavour of gossip among senior Tories than to lend credibility" That @peston is not a valid reason for an extension - if you couldn't be bothered to prepare for a no deal hard sugar (will be the EU response). meanwhile Nick Boles thanks the cabinet "Nick Boles describes the May Cabinet as the worst cabinet in recorded history. He also says not one deserves to be the next PM. "

Hey after some speculation indicative votes are back tomorrow and as @peston says "All your favourite options will be with us again - customs union, Common Market 2.0, confirmatory referendum, revocation - with a promise this time of proper cross party cooperation. And with the aim of forcing the winner on the government on Monday."

I detect a bit of sarcasm LOL :) In parliament (where they are stockpiling too) looks like "the centrist alliance" (who the h*ll are they) is trying to take over for the rest of the week. They've given up on the votes thingy and will try and grab time on wednesday and thursday for Yvette Cooper to put forward an EU (withdrawal) (no 5) bill which she will try and force through on thursday. Sounds desperate.

Cabinet Secretary putting the fear of god into the Cabinet about no deal this morning apparently. (there is a rumour ministers can be prosecuted if they knowingly do something against the country's interests) https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/foreign-affairs/brexit/news/102999/uks-top-civil-servant-issues-stark-no-deal-brexit-warning I think 10% price rises have already happened mind - my 100 shop at Sainsburys was 130 :) I can afford it as a single employed person (still employed luckily) but many can't.

I think any majority on Wednesday but there's a stand off between some second referendum supporters and custom deal / common market 2.0 supporters (you'd think they could agree a compromise). Nick Boles resigning the whip was sad. I keep thinking why are we doing all this with days to go.

Well that's it - the streakers were funny (they kept the underwear on) and Ed Milliband looked like he'd seen a huge bacon sandwich. But brexitwise I think no deal looms :(

Well this is what Bercow has selected for tonight © Kenneth Clarke - Customs Union (D) @NickBoles - Common Market 2.0 (E) @peterkyle - Confirmatory public vote (G) @joannaccherry - Parliamentary Supremacy

There was a table tweeted by Lisa Nandy of areas signing the revoke petition (whatever the number signing in total) - and areas like Dulwich, Peckham, Bermondsey were all in the top 25, Wigan, Burnley etc. all in the bottom 25. Brexit or no, Something needs to be done in these areas - they have been left behind.

?Brexit is a big shitshow, I say that now very undiplomatically,? ?90 percent of the British cabinet of have no idea how workers think, live, work and behave? "It's not U.K. politicians born with silver spoons in their mouths, who went to private schools and elite universities that will suffer the consequences of the mess." German Deputy Foreign Minister Wonder who he's referring to ?

Hah - lots of sites won't let you use Adblock now - they detect it and ask you to turn it off. Why are so many sites using badly designed ads though - just keep them static. Jumping Ads don't sell anything.

As a respite from Brexit, today I wish you Happy Chris Grayling Day.
-
"Chris Grayling says MPs who voted against the Government will regret it." Two days later all MPs voting FOR the government deal wake up next to a horses head. Oh Failing Grayling.

Bercow allows vote tomorrow on MV3 (Only the withdrawal agreement) - maybe he's in a good mood or something. This will be the last time I think.
-
I'd have thought he'd invite you to the next meeting not invite himself home for coffee. https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/scheme/29960/nunhead-heights/

The remain plan is not to bother this Friday - even Steve Bray won't be there. Remain day off :) Let Nigel and Tommy argue with the police (or even each other).
-
So that's it then - the severity of the situation hits home. No majority for anything in the indicative votes (I understand that MP's are in silos right now and maybe need reminding on Monday they are voting for what's acceptable - not their first preference only) MV3 looks like its cancelled (DUP not supporting even if Bercow allowed). As someone just said - Theresa May is so useless she doesn't even have the support to resign.

Verhofstad obviously watches the UK intently - but some things are just too strange. "I'm surprised to see you here Mr Farage, I thought you were marching 200 miles, How many did you do 2 miles ? You remind me more and more of Field Marshall Haig in Blackadder" Even though Haig has been compared to a Donkey - Guy mean't General Melchett didn't he?

That's the rules of petitions - but the debate won't be in the chamber and it isn't really a debate (no votes) Petition debate / government reply has been shown to mean nothing on big issues (On small specific issues it may work)
