If they re-heat I abandon Deliveroo - they MUST know that many would. A SWOT analysis would have a huge "Potential to destroy business" under the T

OK - sounds about right - I'll sign as a quick google of G4S yields some bad stuff

Rumours Catalan President has flown to Brussels (in exile) http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/catalonia-leader-carles-puigdemont-left-spain-brussels-rebellion-charges-eu-independence-latest-a8027366.html
  10. He's handing out Halloween Candies to the other children today. He'll probably eat the lot himself.

The Scottish referendum was agreed by the UK parliament the Catalonia referendum was not (and at present couldn't be) agreed by the Spanish parliament. So any country recognising Catalonia agrees a precedent is set. If this precedent was set then a lot of provinces etc. could unilaterally work towards independence. I'd say get a referendum that is recognised by all sides (which means changing Spanish law).

If that is the case people will lose confidence in the whole concept. I'd think they'd make a huge effort to maintain quality.
  14. It is indeed theft by finding https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theft_by_finding http://metro.co.uk/2017/02/28/when-are-you-legally-allowed-to-keep-money-you-find-on-the-floor-6479579/ You're supposed to make an attempt to return to the owner (even if it's a five pound note). So if you take something abandoned in the street with the intention of handing it in to the police (or telling this forum) then it probably isn't theft as you want to make an effort to return it.
  15. I don't trust G4S etc any more than I could throw them but maybe I'm old fashioned or something but I thought everybody (citizens and police) had the same right to arrest in the UK. Edit: I wonder if the change here is "detention"

  19. Well no doubt someone somewhere will compare and contrast food from #'real' kitchens and dark kitchens - an obvious test. Dulwich mentioned below https://london.eater.com/2017/9/19/16333746/six-new-deliveroo-editions-dark-kitchens-opening-london-bermondsey-islington-wimbledon
  20. The Anglican Church is split, but there still is a liberal faction Kings had a huge Divinity faculty when I was there, and this guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Harries,_Baron_Harries_of_Pentregarth was the Dean of Kings and held a lot of power in the college. The Divinity faculty rather idolised him at the time as a prominent liberal expected to go far. His beliefs on LGBT http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1519625/Bible-supports-homosexual-partnerships-says-bishop.html So not surprising that last year Kings removed former Archbishop Careys picture because of his views https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/gaystapo-campaigners-force-removal-of-archbishop-picture-from-kings-college-london-campus-a3425301.html

  23. They watched 40 men drinking :) https://www.theguardian.com/science/2008/jul/19/medicalresearch.fooddrinks "They found that with the music up high, the men drank on average 3.4 beers and took 11.5 minutes to knock each back. At the more mellow volume level, the men ordered 2.6 drinks on average and supped for a more leisurely 14.5 minutes. The results are reported in the journal Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research." That's preposterous - must have been halves.
