  2. Today caught the 63 for the first time in a few weeks. Get to Blackfriars road and that's it - traffic not moving so everyone gets off and walks. It's exercise anyway :)

  4. Ok I'm told :) So it seems like my leave house at 8:54 and get into work at 9:40 is seen as good ? Someone invent a transporter - or a hoverboard.

I catch the 63 to Farrington when I'm in a relaxed mood and the bus is normally good - but slow through Peckham and down the Old Kent Road:)

It seems to have improved the last week with brand new trains. 1 Hour isn't good - we should be talking 30-40 minutes.:)

Some people can't get over it unless they have some measure of retribution. But better to wait and have it cold - you have to give them some reason not to try it again :)
  10. Just saw what Kelly-Anne said -- should I throw out my Microwave. Edit, just checked her quote and she finishes ?However, I?m not in the job of having evidence, that?s what investigations are for.? That sums up post truth :)

It might be funny but dancers are really flexible and athletic actually :) Beat up the mugger ... with Ballet
  13. People forget it's a park not a wood (where I was born the wood was so big you could pick hundreds of flowers and nobody would notice) Ours is a limited resource people

Anecdotally it's been said people have lost jobs over Southern. It is the daily 0 - 15 minutes lateness that gets to me - it means the train is more crowded too (as customers for the next train turn up).

I would possibly try a friendly nod and smile and see what came back. Would be brave though - but a challenge doesn't have to be a challenge as it were.

If you google 'Old Kent Road Opportunity Area' you seem to get a mix of local workers who think there businesses are going to be swept aside and property developers using the words 'opportunity knocks' It all seems very Elephant Park like.

  19. I'm not interested really - as long as I don't have to pay for it. It'll be for rich property developers.

  21. Probably a specialist team looking into it (which is why maybe the rest aren't to interested).

It's a strange pub - with contradictions - I wouldn't totally blame the pub - although I maybe pop in once a year. I once walked in and said to the prostitutes plying their trade by the door 'you look nice tonight' and they replied 'you look nice too' (I thought this is Grand Theft Auto) And they refused to serve me once as I was too drunk :) :) (and I was) Maybe it's regulars they allow to carry on.
