  2. If it all unravels for Trump - UK/May will be left with egg on it's face. Maybe Merkel keeping her distance is sensible.
  3. Yes - although these things are never quick - Still updates on the web page Last was 20th Jan. http://peckhamcoalline.strikingly.com/blog/winter-update-wassail-event

When they build the pedestrian bridge from Canada Water to Canary Wharf it'll be the same :) The issue I have is we're building more flats and Thameslink and Southern can't provide enough trains - I'd move both to Overground under TFL.

  7. I suppose it has to be filmed somewhere. Maybe he stuck a pin in a map :)
  8. The government doesn't intend to match EU funding to regions such as Wales (who voted leave). So I don't see anything except more disparity. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/politics/tories-accused-betraying-wales-brexit-12571741

Yes, my dentist drilled like there was no tomorrow when I was young. Then in my 30s the old metal fillings began to fall out.

But there's more money to be made the OKR route, and whether that's the right way to decide, I don't know. I assume eventually whats at Elephant now will extend down the Old Kent Road.
  11. What does this mean ? "The Mayor of London's transport body also said it was committed to a second phase of the extension beyond Lewisham. The proposed route, chosen over others, would go through Peckham and Camberwell." http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/why-are-there-so-few-underground-stations-in-south-london/story-30124219-detail/story.html Edit: Probably just badly written :)
  12. Didn't they follow that up with. "World War II bomber on Moon DISAPPEARS" Edit : They did :) http://s293.photobucket.com/user/laughinggravy/media/Stuff%20for%20message%20boards%20etc/bombervanishes.jpg.html
  13. anyway in order to rival Trump, David Davis apparently had a few drinks, tried to kiss Diane Abbott and got told where to go. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/02/09/diane-abbott-tells-brexit-minister-f-attempts-kiss-commons-bar/

I remember a rather small lady (but great dentist) - left now) at the Gardens pulling my tooth out and me thinking maybe I need a huge rugby player dentist for this :) You'd think if they were dead they'd come out easily - no this tooth was for staying.
  15. Wikipedia is a tool which I know how to use (you check the references at the bottom and make your own judgement). The page history can be interesting :) The Mail is just full of Cr*p.
  16. Worth noting Seems if you collect from Highshore Road you must have the 'missed you' note - but to collect from POs you can get away with two forms of ID (although I saw someone get away with a photo of the 'missed you' note last time). It's not too bad really though.
  17. Does that pipe actually need to be lengthened as it's for balance I might not know what I'm talking about :)

There's always the dark side (I like the Peckham Town Badge) Bet there's a few supporters on here.
  19. Some of my parcels go to Peckham, some to Forest Hill Road PO(then I walk through Peckham Rye park carrying a big parcel). Once someone delivered to a shop in Bellendon Road.

But inflation subsided in other countries too (Germany still has workers on the board etc.) Oil was a factor then, http://www.macrotrends.net/1369/crude-oil-price-history-chart (I think that is already adjusted for inflation)

Even in a free market, some farmers (maybe a lot) would go out of business, so reducing supply and increasing prices (unless we just buy from abroad - which we do a lot anyway)

It's not about an individual case in their view - it's just stats and nothing else (unless they lie and there is something else)
