I know pension costs are huge - but I really don't want to see people having money pulled from them at the end of their lives. on another note ... Someone on twitter just said universal credit is called universal cred by IDS's civil servants - as theres no IT in it :)

  9. I suppose every improvement will encourage incomers. (Most that I can think of - but maybe i'm in my box :) ) But you can't not improve on that basis.

Yes But if we share tables are we meant to sit in silence or share some anecdotes :)
  11. Just read some of Corbyns thoughts on solving the middle east issues Sounds like me at 12 years old - believing everybody is rational and peaceful at heart. Doesn't mean it's wrong - but it's innocent.
  12. Corbyn doesn't have to target the 2020 GE - he needs to drag the center ground of UK politics to the left IMHO. And that will be enough to start.

I can't do the internet dating I now realise. The faster the communication medium, the slower I am :) Sometimes you just have to trust that people are not cheaters.
  15. One solution is a big shared "laptop table" which are being used in some of the central coffee houses

  18. There is something that makes a visit to an awful pub irresistible :) Only once though.
  19. The best policy is if there are people in the road is to stop and wait. However, It's so confusing if the road management is wrong that you don't know what someone will do. and if other drivers beep in their confusion - so be it.
  20. I see now .... My mother called a Fritata a Spanish Omelette - or is that different again ?
  21. Anyway - Viva the Peckham Coal Line and the Peckham Rye Lido :)
  22. Went into the Ring before it was trendified and asked some guy why everyone had a swallow tattoo - he actually slowly explained to me saying obviously I was very innocent :)
  23. Corbyn will bring the middle ground of UK politic to the left - and so much fun to watch. Then in a few years a young labour leader with no baggage will appear :)

Fratata sounds like a Welsh/Irish/Scottish colloquialism for Fried Potato.
